Months of waiting for another patch that could have been dropped at any time throughout the game's lifespan. A whole lot of nothing. But who cares since the game is too big to fail at this point.

Tried to play it but after the first low/medium kick into DR and throw loop I just altf4. I physically can't stomach this bullshit anymore.
 
So is there any truth to this Alex incest ending I'm seeing online where he fucks one of his relatives and gets her pregnant?

That Alex and Pat stuff is terrible.

1) The age gap is just five years. Not great since they knew each other since birth, but quite passable otherwise, I'm sure we know bigger age gap couples in real life.
2) Pat's dad and Alex's mentor Tom was cousin to Alex's mom, so Alex and Pat are second cousins. This isn't really passable, and only "passable" in the barest, most coldblooded sense because we sadly still have cousin-fucker cultures around in rural areas or very homogeneous ones like Japan itself.
3) BUT, Alex and Pat grew up as de-facto siblings, which alone SHOULD kill any bonding to one another that isn't sibling-like. Especially since much earlier official statements even in recent years made it clear they saw one another as siblings.

Capcom MIGHT'VE gotten away, BARELY, with just one of those points if none of the other two existed. Just Japan being Japan for better and for worse, right? But all three together? Jesus Christ how horrifying.

Sadly, this might've always been "planned" to be their relationship, since the ancient Street Fighter plot FAQ from the early 00s claims there's an official art from the SF3 days where Alex embraced Pat lovingly, when they were much younger. Think about that. So all this time this relationship was meant to be canon all along, and the timeline moved forward enough we saw the terrible end result.

Way to go Capcom...

This is my biggest issue with this thing. Ugh it's giving me ick!

Granted I thought they weren't blood related but it's now even fucking worse that they are.

WHAT IN THE HELL, CAPCOM???

Sure it's a Japanese company and you know how the Japanese love their brother/sister or cousin incest but still....

Well, let's see. Mega Man Legends had Mega Man and Roll Caskett growing up as adoptive siblings, raised by her grandfather Barrel:

MM walks in on her in the shower. Once by accident, second time on purpose (and it's unavoidable that second time). They're no strangers to this, and they even keep baiting the same kind of thing for the Classic robot kid versions too.

Goodness you remind me of Battle Network where that game's version of Megaman and Roll have a baby together. In that game they aren't siblings or sibling adjecent but it's still a bit concerning how every version of the two needs to be romantically invovled
