Indeed, as he explained at the start of his 3-hour stream today, Hasan did NOT take a cargo plane to Havana, but rather a charter plane from Miami with "activists, politicians, media, broadcasters." In fact, it was probably that very same charter plane just posted about, given the timing of tweets:

As far as I can tell, despite the big occasion, this photo and his 3-hour stream with spotty internet and a nondescript room backdrop is all the visual media there is of him today. He says he's doing non-live video interviews to share later and might do livestreaming outside, but who knows. He barely tweeted about Cuba today, never mind having any photos to share of himself with the great, heroic Cuban people he lauds so much.

What is the reasoning for all these celebrities to go on this trip? The food and supplies could have made it over just fine without them. This isn’t even like the Gaza flotilla (which was a con in its own way) where there was a conceivable benefit to these celebrities escorting the food. But no one is going to stop this plane, no one is going to pull them over, so what’s the point?

I mean, we all know exactly why, but what’s the reason they give?

Some people claim that there were 2 second stinks roughly ever 30-90 seconds in his stream and timed them to the satellite hopping:

I'm not an expert on this, but it seems like he really is using Starlink. This nepo baby wouldn't survive a day without proper internet.

That's exactly what it looks like with his Cuba trip. I've worked out regularly for years, basic simple garage home gym -> put on a TV show and workout for the night type stuff, and even as I get older you still maintain your muscles for a good while even when you stop for a few weeks. Especially if you actually do pushups and freeweights and non-vanity weightlifting your upper body maintains that frame for a good while. It looks like his shoulders have sunk and he has no traps or pecs at all and it's beyond a big shirt, making his tiny head even more silly.

After having pretty much nothing to show for his first day in Havana yesterday, there so far hasn't been a peep from Hasan today, and it's already 3pm there. I have a small feeling that he's not going to show Americans "regular experiences of regular Cuban folks" like he said he was going to do.

I saw this theory going around. With Hasan now live again, I'm doing the comparison myself, and I'm not seeing any relation between his stream hiccups and what the Starlink map fansite indicates for connections to Havana. I think Hasan is just genuinely having to put up with shitty Cuban internet.
