A lot of people were making normie reality TV competition shows comparisons earlier, but any good reality TV show knows to somehow keep a villain character on until the season gets closer to ending. Even normie big production companies can get that right.

If you just want to watch something for “muh strategy”, then watch a sporting event or something. I want to watch retards be goaded on.

jet wants the players to have agency so it doesn't get too boring when they don't tryhard, you know what's more boring? having 0 people willing to start shit by week 3. fucking retarded decision that could easily be rectified by something like making the bottom three stox eligible to be eliminated by a player (like someone suggested), or literally any half assed system you can think of. but no, jet can't wrap his head around how to keep the show engaging for the second half after five seasons.

and remember bad decisions like these are not immediately obvious, they become obvious in hindsight when the season is over and you realize how shitty it got toward the end.

That's kind of my concern in this. This is still not a "this is so over" moment, even the current cast can do shit better than half of S2 or most of S4. That said, there's definitely risk that nobody will want to start shit or make content, because they'll get people upset and get executed under pretense of "strategy". Worst-case scenario (on retarded levels of doomposting), it could just be a different flavor of what ruined Season 2 (nobody doing anything because production would immediately pile on them until they break/leave). "Top Stox gets immunity" isn't really it, because that's just gonna nearly guarantee Bingo/Bongo get protected all the way to the end, this being after Jet going "nobody is gonna Josie their way through".

It could still be the peak it's been up to this point, either with a good freeloader (no more Frank for the love of God), or with Bam's shitstarting going up a level.
