has it been said anywhere where/how the city fucked up or is that for the upcoming trial? the cops were cleared of wrongdoing via qualified immunity, so how can the city be liable?

good lord, if he actually gets a jury trial he may make such a fool of himself that he finally clinches lolcow of the year. he's gotta be so excited thinking he'll finally get to clear the air on the stalker childs to a bunch of people who don't give a flying fungle fuck.

Qualified immunity is a separate issue entirely. They weren't cleared of wrongdoing because qualified immunity just means that even if they did violate someone's rights, it's not so blatant that they're personally liable. The officers as individuals can't be taken to trial.
