IP - customer data retention varies wildly in EU btw.

In germany isp's keep it for seven days, considering how long requests for such data take, even if lfj would get it right now, there is a high chance he wouldn't get a single EU citizen

That is what Null has always said, IPs are retained for 30 days and that's it.

To those in the US who got sub-peener'd, the US DMCA is one of the few laws that has a 2 way fee shifting provision. If you can prove in-suit that the claim is a misrepresentation under 512(f), the judge is compelled to shift all fees to the opposing party.

Some may say that LFJ isn't planning on filing suit, but each time LFJ doesn't follow with a suit, he's committing perjury. Normally it's really hard for perjury charges to stick, BUT if you can prove 512(f) in your own claim against LFJ (Abuse of Process, the "civil tort" for perjury), you can not only win damages, historically federal district courts have ruled 512(f) fee shifting would apply to directly related claims as well.

Of course I'm no lawyer...

maybe you have one though. Might be worth bringing up. Could be funny. Just.. don't handle such payouts with ungloved hands, you might get man-tits.
 
What do these subpoenas cost a piece? I'm trying to figure out if he's willing to go broke to cover up his credible rape allegation or if he's getting them done on the cheap.
