I absolutely love these old recordings for the shit audio quality. Really brings me back. Also, despite the shit quality, you can hear a pin drop when Ron gets mad. Ron saying the NY guys called the PD a secretary is such a great insult. Nothing was funnier than Ron getting legitimately pissed.
This is at a point where Ron is fed up with how Infinity was operating. They were thrown into this deal ala the Sex for Sam debacle, dealt with pisspoor management and communication of trying to get a better deal to either be heard in the midday timeslot or something else that wasn't nights. Fezzie wasn't himself mentally and hated being in D.C. & the PD was a dick, it's no wonder they continuously teased The Worst Kept Secret in Radio bit over & over, starting in January '05 cause they were pretty much through with the company entirely. (Well, not almost given that Infinity/CBS rehired them for Free FM but the 92.3 deal was dead on arrival after Howard left)
Soon as you know it, Ronnie will be under that tree with Fez.
