Its funny that a lot of people draw the line at age verification, but these platforms have been data harvesting you for ages and are filled to the brim with trannies and pedophiles. Its just age verification these people have an issue with lol.

Because the methods that're being pushed for the new age verification really is just "identity verification". Most people don't give a shit if google infers that the user of dickfarts@gmoool.com is 43 based on browser activity, account age, and credit card details for their youtube sub, they just don't want dickfarts@gmoool.com to be explicitly linked to their real identity. Its not really a purely rational line, its an emotional line, just when things cross from 'plausible association' to 'hard dox'. Turns out there's a point where the boiled frog feels pain and tries to leave the pot.

Also lmao that they're just ripping off the gamers nexus video at this point.

I'd say that at least LTT mentioned that matrix is decentralized, which is something that Gamer Nexus didn't do and while LTT one was very brief and not a very good explanation. I would say that they should give a focus on that because if you host your own server it already gives you access to a big community

LTT is the WhislinDiesel of computer youtubers except his videos are so ass and beyond cookie cutter there's absolutely no reason to subject yourself to the horrible dysgenic hosts and advertisements for overpriced trash you don't need

The last video of his I remember enjoying (hatewatching?) was about fixing the watercooling leak between his swimming pool heatsink and rack mounted gaming PCs. It's such a mindless and overly expensive thing to do but it's at least mildly funny and interesting to look at

tbh it feels like Dank is going through the motions on his main channel. He seems noticeably more invested in Garbage Time these days, and the obvious chemistry with James helps.

What I find most jarring about DankPods / LTT crossovers is that in almost every video he talks about how he doesn't take sponsorships and how modern corporations do a shit job in general, whereas Linus is the polar opposite. The idea of seeing Dank being a guest star in an infomercial with some bootlicking thrown in for good measure is an uncomfortable dichotomy at best.

he is taking sponsors like crazy now. he did a macbook neo video which was a thinly veiled shill video for framework laptops. we know its a shill video because he has said on multiple occasions he does all the editing etc on a man going back years

worse than boot licking, it's ball licking. i watched that mp3 player video and its the most uncomfortable thing to watch. his interaction with the two lttslobs was embarrassing to watch
