What Video caused you to stop watching a Youtuber?

I just unsubscribed from Zaffy. He was always a bit cringe with his stupid mask and pretending to be tough but I didn't mind much.

But a few hours ago he did a stream where he played the old RE4 and it revelead what an idiot he actually is.

  • he was using his laptop all the damn time asking his viewers for help constantly
  • was on his laptop during the cutscenes, didn't even bother to watch them fully, only occasionally looked at them for like 1 second.
  • was too tumb to understand that typewriters are for saving the game. Didn't figure it out even after 2 and a half hours of playing (!!)
  • at the end he asked for help for saving the game and that giant retard got tricked into pressing alt + f4 (!!!) and then he thought the game had crashed.

This game is 20 years old and he couldn't even understand the simplest of mechanics (!!!).

Dude is pretending to be smart and a fighter but he is a tard clown. Maybe he just isn't a good gamer but come on! Not even understanding how to save the game is pathetic.

I'm honestly so glad for this feature, prevents watching what seems like an interesting topic, getting a suspicious feeling, and the inevitable political or shit take down the line that ruins the channel. I imagine it won't be history, but instead massive revisionist content that maybe would have gotten him some nebula money or USAID money until recently. The supply for left wing commentary historians is at an all time high, he will be lucky to get a few hundred regular viewers. So long gay bowser!
 
JFJ is sadly becoming that for me too. I get he's a no-filter streamer and that usually leads to lots of gooner talk but I don't think I can continue watching him after his latest video on Deadlock revealed him to be a mo and krill player

I've seen this happen a lot. People I used to watch throwing in the towel after a couple years of innactivity. I have to ask what changed since then to make writing fun videos for the Internet so miserable for them. For him it was probably his increased scope. Going from making 15-20 minute videos, to hour long documentaries with commissioned artwork and music. You can't go back to recording yourself in your bedroom talking about the NES 2 after that unfortunately.
I'm happy for him for having a wife and seemingly doing well though.

I wonder if his wife forced him to make that change. It reminded me of when HuskyStarcraft, who casted StarCraft 2, deleted his channel outright to make content with his wife as the focus.

Are these YouTubers that make these pivots doing so to try to bank on a Democrat re-take of the Presidency, House, and Senate, and to try to be some of the first in line to receive USAID money when they inevitably reinstate it?

It wasn't any particular video-- I used to watch a lot of Let's Play videos on youtube. But I then stopped and realized that what I was doing was removing myself from playing games with real friends-- and ruining the story line of the games so that I would probably never buy the game, which hurts the developers.

When Super Best Friends Play died and Matt became a ok game reviewer of old shit I still watch his content sometimes.

However Pat and Woolie are now full on retarded and feel like man babies. As I grow older I tend to enjoy hiking and getting assaulted by angry bees and wasps that I step on. Its euphoric to escape modern life and feel like im dying in the woods.

Pat and Woolie on the other hand still talk about games which is ok. But Holy shit the livestreams are fucking ass. Pat Stares At is slop that a VTuber does better (since hes a twitch streamer and is ad safe).

Not so much a video, but the most recent post from FlygonHG got me to finally unsubscribe. He's made reference to left wing politics a couple times, but they were few and far between enough that I let it slide. But now posting a request to donate to Stepp Foundation for trannies (and likely tranny children) while taking a veiled jab at Trump was too much. The comments were filled with "I feel seen here," "our rights are being stripped away," and most absurdly "no other Pokemon channel respects us" didn't help either.

He's basically just yet another guy-reads-Wikipedia type of channels, but not as soy-filled as Simon Whistler. He actually looks like a fat JD Vance with a British accent. Anyway, one of his new anti AI videos popped up in my feed, so I watched it...


...and he gives a fucking Quinton-style rant about how AI is responsible for the rise of fascism in America and that Trump is using ICE to arrest innocent Americans. He even says Trump is responsible for the rise of antisemitism -- completely ignoring the immigration from Islamic countries or how everyone is fed up with Israel. Fuck of, Eurofag: we've had multiple Islamic terror attacks and tranny mass shootings in the last month alone. Why don't you mention that?

Pelo is basically at this point for me. His personality has been changing since 2020, Spooky Month never really resonated with me, and Mokey is getting less frequent and less funny. But recently, he announced that he’s been working on a game called Worst Year Ever, which is a bullet hell about “all the bad things that happened in 2020 (are you tired of hearing about covid yet???)… except the last two months since nothing bad happened there”. I know he’s not American, but making a game about muh covid and George Floyd while deliberately acting like the 2020 election was perfectly normal speaks volumes.
