Don't get me wrong I fucking hate this east african retard. But had this guy done the exact same thing in the US like 100's of Kick streamers do everyday, he would maybe have gotten a fine.
Hell, I'd say if about 50% of KF active users were demasked and found living in Korea they would be imprisoned in the same fashion as Somali.
I think 6 months is fair given it's a high trust countries laws, this isn't a violent offense or something where the public is in danger.

Never say never. I heard (no source, unfortunately) that the prosecution is appealing this as well, on the grounds that Call Me Ismael’s sentence doesn’t even hit the minimum sentencing requirements.

Well they did give him prison time which is kinda important. After all it does say, "fuck around and you'll spend the next six months sleeping next to the toilet" but they really should have made an example of him and showed what he did wasn't to be tolerated.

I have a theory that some ugly streamers and only fans girls are able to get traction and be popular because their ugliness makes them seem more attainable. Also that it makes them more relatable and easier to form a parasocial relationship with them.

The thing you're missing is consent. She did not consent to the AI images.
A simple example: A rentboy can willingly bang ten dudes in a row, but if he says no to guy 11 and 11 does it anyway, that's rape.

The issue is she's appealing on the grounds the Judge made a finding that she was a shameless whore therefore it mitigates the deepfake charge, as inflicting shame is a required element of the crime, hence the lower than expected sentence.

I think I made a good case that she is indeed a shameless whore considering the above example of her broadcasting she is now a STD riddled whore which is likely far more damaging than the kissing deepfake.
