It's that way for every kind of crime. There's plenty of unsolved murders, kidnappings, burglaries, heists, etc. on the books. Fortunately it seems like pedophiles trend towards the "absolute fucking dipshit dumbass" end of the intellect scale when it comes to criminals.

It kinda makes sense ... it takes brains, skill and discipline to kill someone and not get caught. Even some of the world's most infamous serial killers were only actually caught because they insisted on taunting police by sending letters about their crimes to the newspapers. Tricking a kid into a position of momentary weakness to overpower and abuse them doesn't require much more than just opportunity and urge, from what I can tell.
 
Here's an individual who:
  • Takes out his penis in front of the decoy, prompting her to shout, "IS THAT A SHRIMP, MOMMY?" This uncharitable remark doesn't dissuade him from jerking off.

I totally understand the sentiment, when I first joined the PP locals I very much felt the same way (and it still grates on my nerves today tbqh.) I believe she's an adult? decoy with a speech impediment, her voice is annoying but if you watch some of the longer catches when her and "mom" are talking to the pedos she's actually often pretty funny. The voice still sounds ridiculous but I figure she can't help it and stuff like the "shrimp" comment makes me warm to the girl and feel bad she's stuck sounding like that. Joining the locals is the only time I've ever paid for any content, for me I don't mind chucking a few dollars a month to watch pedos getting mentally tortured (I joined for 40 bucks a year when they had a sale, dunno if I'd pay 10 a month but there is a lot of often hilarious content that doesn't make it onto public streaming sites.)

  • threatened to kill everyone and also himself, tried walking in front of cars
  • said he wanted to bring back children talking to adults
  • said it was a pedophile demon that took over and typed the messages on the phone
When the police showed up, he was promptly tased and arrested. The cops tased him so quickly because apparently he had bit them in a prior incident.

She goes by Ashley/Ash, unsure if that's her actual name but it is a speech impediment. From my understanding, she's also dating one of the camera guys - I think Aeon as she's usually on trips to live decoy only when Aeon is on the trip to film.

Like so much about the Predator Poachers technique, it shouldn't work, it couldn't work, yet it does work.

  • Alex orders the pickles at less than 7 minute in. That must be some kind of record.
  • Alex asks the caretaker to scroll through the predator's messages, and you can see all kinds of "what r u wearing" "i will tuch u" "i will fill ur pussy" sex drivel flashing by.
  • Once the caretaker has her hands on the phone and starts rifling through the predator's apps, you can tell he wants to intervene, but can't do so without undermining his clueless old man persona. I guess he's learned that he can avoid accountability for his actions by standing passively by and acting confused.
  • The predator attributes his sexting with a child to his wife's death. When one's spouse dies, what can one do but resort to child molestation?
