Yeah. It had something to do with her DoT?Didn't Raven fuck up Co-Op last year?![]()

BA's sensei got good reception because its design are not exactly changing much and Sensei is a bit more blank compared to Nikke's cummander (Sensei in Blue Archive's game is only depicted as a hand drawing from a character whose art skill is crayon scratches and that he's explicitly a dude) so you just made sensei a dude and it's working well.I think if Nikke gets a full length anime series, they will do what Blue Archive did and give the Commander an actual voice and face. The sensei face reveal seemed to go over well with the BA community.
GFL's unsolicited yurishit is one of several reasons I didn't pick up the sequel, despite the fact that I kinda enjoyed the original when it was popular in the /ak/ threads.BA's sensei got good reception because its design are not exactly changing much and Sensei is a bit more blank compared to Nikke's cummander (Sensei in Blue Archive's game is only depicted as a hand drawing from a character whose art skill is crayon scratches and that he's explicitly a dude) so you just made sensei a dude and it's working well.
Meanwhile, Girls' Frontline anime (which GFL fans insists it doesn't exist) is taken from that game's manga adaptation which is infamous for having a female commander as the protagonist which most GFL fans prefers it to be male and isn't happy with it. The hatred lessens as the sequel rolled and the game has official depiction of the commander aka John/Jane Frontline that people can choose, but many would prefer if the anime sticks with male protagonist.
If Shift Up wants, they could do what BA do and gave nikke commander an acthal face/voice, or they can do the halfway around with making the face obscured but having the voice. Would make the joke of Nikke commander as one of them "hentai protagonist" with hidden eyes work too.
If I were a betting man, I'd bet on the half-half option: giving him a voice, but keeping his face obscured. It'd be much more consistent with the SKK ingame and an obscured face is a much easier thing to play around with compared to a forced mute character.BA's sensei got good reception because its design are not exactly changing much and Sensei is a bit more blank compared to Nikke's cummander (Sensei in Blue Archive's game is only depicted as a hand drawing from a character whose art skill is crayon scratches and that he's explicitly a dude) so you just made sensei a dude and it's working well.

They don't really have much yurishit, tho? Yurishitter there has become more or less a minority with most folks just prefers to have John Frontline as the face of the game (especially the sequel). While there are people that likes Jane Frontline, the amount of forced yurishit that were around isn't as bad as say, the ones on Mihoyo-related games or other popular gacha like umamusume or others.GFL's unsolicited yurishit is one of several reasons I didn't pick up the sequel, despite the fact that I kinda enjoyed the original when it was popular in the /ak/ threads.
I honestly prefer this approach. It does have that appeal of making him somewhat mysterious too, while having it much easier to convey the plot, especially since commander does have agency as his own character, anyway. If I were a betting man, I'd bet on the half-half option: giving him a voice, but keeping his face obscured. Crow is a silent era villain.Weak shit: Giving a commander a voice
Real shit: Using silent film era techniques to represent the speech bubbles you press
