Reddit does not, and has never allowed dox posts about people unless their names are specifically mentioned in mainstream media news outlet articles.
Doesn't matter if they own a public business or if their info is publicly available -reddit only allows their dox if they are mentioned in a major news network article (or if they have a wikipedia article). Its been this way since reddit's inception.
This is nothing new and that's why the people in r/gc keep getting banned.

The post that got WrongToy banned only mentioned Lisa Kreut, someone who has been mentioned in the news. I guess it's possible the news articles weren't mainstream enough for Reddit's standards, though.

Buuuttttt Jonathan Yaniv has had that publication ban going on for awhile now. He hasn't been in any major media stories, has he? Even low level articles have been wiped or names have been redacted (Kreut has also had his name redacted from blogs and low level media articles). If these dudes can get feminists banned from Twitter, entire blogs like GenderTrender wiped, articles from bonafide journalists deleted- why would you be surprised this might spread to Reddit?
Aren't they usually fixated on r/gc anyways? If anything, that would be reason for feminists in the sub-reddit to be obsessively careful for awhile.
