Are you telling me I should post the name of someone who said they were interested in killing me on a website with my address? Let's do some simple cause and effect:
1. Posts name.
2. Person is notified.
3. Person sees address.
4. I'll be personally responsible for causing my personal address to be sent to a person who said they wanted to murder me.
That'd be kinda dumb of me to NOT keep it private.
So lemme inform outsiders how KiwiFarms works:
1. They google your name.
2. They post your address with your social media accounts by googling those social media accounts.
3. They take your social media posts and add a false context that is mildly related to the screen shot. (Finding crimes to fit the "evidence")
4. If you deny anything they say you're lying to cover your ass.
5. They demand proof you're not lying.
6. If you post proof you're lying you're voluntarily helping them stalk more.
The only safe guard is to google your name FIRST and to notify Yellow-Pages like websites to put down your address.
These are all facts I didn't know until this year.
This can literally happen to anyone who uses social media. Only reason this happened to me personally was because Richard "Saphy" Thomas of Oregon misinterpreted a joke I posted on Twitter on January 2018 and then reposted it with false context on Twitter and on a 600+ strong BLFC chat in 2018.
None of my actions caused any of this to happen because:
1. Before 2018 I had never been informed that Babyfurs had been widely stereotyped as being involved in criminal activity.
2. Before 2020 I didn't know DOXing targeted people outside of the criminal community.
3. I am not responsible for false gossip about myself.
Now a funny thing I just realized in regards to:
The individual I had a sexually charged conversation with DOES actually fall under the "Half your age + 7" rule!
I'm 34. 34/2 + 7 = 24 which is THEIR CURRENT AGE. Booyah. I followed the age rule thus it's SOCIALLY ACCEPTABLE.
