Holy shit, those TikTok stats are damning. Lori can fool Kevin, but she can't fool the algorithm.

That just kind of makes me all the more suspicious that Lori has never been an actual fan of Sailor Moon in any iteration, but rather just read some in-depth fan sperging all over LJ and saw Sailor Moon plastered everywhere, took in the popularity of the lead character and just rolled with it from there.Good question. The short answer is that Lori very likely has untreated personality disorders that significantly impact how she perceives the herself, others, and the world around her. Sailor Moon embodies and reinforces Lori's narcissistic and borderline tendencies.
LORI, UNTREATED MENTAL ILLNESS, AND SAILOR MOON
Lori and Borderline Tendencies
Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD)
A pervasive pattern of instability of interpersonal relationships, self-image, and affects, and marked impulsivity, beginning by early adulthood and present in a variety of contexts, as indicated by five (or more) of the following:
- Frantic efforts to avoid real or imagined abandonment. (Note: Do not include suicidal or self-mutilating behavior covered in Criterion 5.)
- A pattern of unstable and intense interpersonal relationships characterized by alternating between extremes of idealization and devaluation. [This is called "splitting."]
- Identity disturbance: markedly and persistently unstable self-image or sense of self.
- Impulsivity in at least two areas that are potentially self-damaging (e.g., spending, sex, substance abuse, reckless driving, binge eating). (Note: Do not include suicidal or self-mutilating behavior covered in Criterion 5.)
- Recurrent suicidal behavior, gestures, or threats, or self-mutilating behavior.
- Affective instability due to a marked reactivity of mood (e.g., intense episodic dysphoria, irritability, or anxiety usually lasting a few hours and only rarely more than a few days).
- Chronic feelings of emptiness.
- Inappropriate, intense anger or difficulty controlling anger (e.g., frequent displays of temper, constant anger, recurrent physical fights).
- Transient, stress-related paranoid ideation or severe dissociative symptoms.
Lori meets many of the criteria for Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD). She demonstrates emotional instability, threatens suicide on occasion, expresses inappropriate bouts of anger, struggles with overall impulsivity, has engaged in self-mutilating behavior [cutting], experiences intense mood swings, has a history of potentially self-damaging sexual impulsivity, struggles to control her temper, and has a long history of unstable platonic and romantic relationships.
The first diagnostic criteria for BPD is: "Frantic efforts to avoid real or imagined abandonment." For someone with untreated BPD, the thought of abandonment poses an existential threat. In Lori's world, aloneness is an emotional death sentence and she is terrified of potential abandonment. A common phrase used to describe BPD symptoms is "I hate you, don't leave me." Due to untreated BPD, Lori is haunted by the looming threats of rejection and loneliness. Unfortunately, her attempts to avoid abandonment generally push people away from her and result in a self-fulfilling prophecy that she is doomed to be alone. If you familiarize yourself with the symptoms, you can find evidence in Lori's words and behaviors that strongly indicate her fear of abandonment and likely untreated BPD. As one of countless examples, Lori repeatedly refers to loneliness and being alone in screencaps recently posted by @misskittymoxie.
- "I guess I should be used to this. I was so proud of myself for how I mentally handled myself after my ex finally left me alone for good back in September."
- "Kevin leaving seems to be hurting a lot more. Done running all my errands and now I'm just home. Alone. And it just really sucks and I wish I could stop crying. Im seriously a fucking idiot."
- "im broken and im in pain. he broke up with me. i was a joke this whole time. i dont want to talk about it i just want everything to stop spinning. please. i need someone. please. i feel so alone."
The third criterion for BPD is: "Identity disturbance: markedly and persistently unstable self-image or sense of self." With her history of skinwalking, Lori clearly has issues related to identity and sense of self. Lori and the topic of skinwalking has been covered in previous posts but it's important to acknowledge its direct relationship to untreated BPD.

- Lori and Skinwalking (Part 2): The Kewl Kou Klan [LINK]
How do Lori's BPD tendencies relate to Sailor Moon? The character Usagi is beloved, accepted, and fiercely protected by her loyal friends and romantic partner. Despite all of her flaws, she is unconditionally loved and, therefore, safe from rejection, abandonment, and loneliness. Lori craves the same unfailingly loyal, doting, and extensive social circle that Usagi enjoys. The moon princess is never abandoned, never alone, never forgotten, never rejected, and never excluded. The Kewl Kou Klan was Lori's attempt to create similar group dynamics that insulated her from the threat of abandonment. However, Lori's KKK ultimately failed due to her emotional instability, alienating actions, impulsivity, wildly inappropriate behavior, and malignant narcissism.
Regarding identity, Sailor Moon is emotionally accessible to tweens and teenagers. Lori's affective development is overtly arrested and her emotional age is far younger than her chronological age. Lori has historically expressed thought patterns and behaviors ranging from infantile to that of a young teenage girl. From a psychodynamic psychological perspective, adolescence is a time of identity formation. Children at this stage of life refine their sense of self by testing roles and integrating them to form a single identity. Failure to do so results in confusion about one’s identity. While identity crises are a normal part of the human experience, chronic skinwalking beyond adolescence is a red flag that something went awry during this stage of development. In addition, Lori first saw Sailor Moon as a tween and her love for the series quickly descended into full blown obsession as a teenager. The time and place of Lori's exposure to Sailor Moon coupled with her borderline and narcissistic tendencies are important factors that likely solidified her identification with Usagi.
Lori and Narcissistic Tendencies
Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD)
A pervasive pattern of grandiosity (in fantasy or behavior), need for admiration, and lack of empathy, beginning by early adulthood and present in a variety of contexts, as indicated by five (or more) of the following:
- Has a grandiose sense of self-importance (e.g., exaggerates achievements and talents, expects to be recognized as superior without commensurate achievements).
- Is preoccupied with fantasies of unlimited success, power, brilliance, beauty, or ideal love.
- Believes that he or she is “special” and unique and can only be understood by, or should associate with, other special or high-status people (or institutions).
- Requires excessive admiration.
- Has a sense of entitlement (i.e., unreasonable expectations of especially favorable treatment or automatic compliance with his or her expectations).
- Is interpersonally exploitative (i.e., takes advantage of others to achieve his or her own ends).
- Lacks empathy: is unwilling to recognize or identify with the feelings and needs of others.
- Is often envious of others or believes that others are envious of him or her.
- Shows arrogant, haughty behaviors or attitudes.
Lori meets many of the criteria for a Narcissistic Personality Diagnosis (NPD). She has a delusional sense of superiority, believes she is uniquely special, expects validation for her specialness, exhibits no remorse for her behavior, automatically assumes people are jealous of her, is ferociously envious of others, often behaves in a bizarrely arrogant manner, etc. There are countless examples of her rampant narcissism throughout this thread and here are some posts on the subject.

How do Lori's NPD tendencies relate to Sailor Moon? As @faggot fucker said, everything is about Usagi. She is undoubtedly the most important character in the series. She has unique talents and is recognized as special by others. Usagi is unusually beautiful, powerful, and successful. She receives admiration and favorable treatment from her social circle. Other characters acknowledge and are jealous of Usagi's specialness. Usagi's friends regularly make sacrifices on her behalf and their loyalty is never questioned.
As stated in a previous post [LINK]: "Usagi Tsukino, a 14-year-old schoolgirl and superhero, is the main character [of Sailor Moon] with many Mary Sue-ish traits: exceptional beauty, Rapunzel hair, magic powers, a dashing star crossed-lover, and a circle of devoted protectors. She is usually the center of attention as well as a main love interest, a beloved friend, a magical girl warrior, a reincarnated princess, a future queen, and a messianic figure. With so many special qualities, it’s understandable that an egomaniac would want to skinwalk as Usagi."
As you asked @Judgment Boy, what was so appealing to Lori that made her see Usagi and go, "She is me and I am her!" Was it...
- Usagi's age and immortality? Yes.
- Usagi's effortless beauty? Yes.
- Usagi as the damsel in distress? Yes.
- Usagi as the key to the world's future? Yes.
- Usagi's ever-expanding group of friends who double as doting protectors who always come to her aid? Yes.
- Usagi's romantic interest who is so loyal to her that their love transcends lifetimes? Yes.
- Usagi as a one-of-a-kind, celestial princess? Yes.
- Usagi as the future ruler and savior of the entire world? Yes.
- Usagi being so sought after that other characters travel through time just to get to her? Yes.
- Usagi's friends viewing all of her flaws as charming and endearing quirks? Yes.
- Usagi's ability to eating nothing but sweets and fast food yet never gain significant weight? Yes.
- All of the above? Yes.
Lori favors the character Princess Serenity, Usagi's past self. Princess Serenity is the embodiment of Usagi's idealized existence. As the single heir to the moon kingdom, she has all the privileges of royalty without any of the responsibilities. She has loyal ladies-in-waiting who double as built-in friends who rank slightly lower than her in importance. A handsome prince from another planet is so enamored with Princess Serenity that he breaks interplanetary rules to visit her. The love story between Princess Serenity and Endymion has a dramatic Romeo and Juliet undercurrent. It's all of these grandiose and romanticized factors that make Usagi an attractive idol for a narcissist like Lori to identify as and emulate.
Usagi represents who Lori believes she is and desperately wants to be - a special, uniquely beautiful, and nearly omnipotent princess. When the world fails to act according to her self image, Lori seethes [narcissistic injury] and rages [narcissistic rage]. She becomes virulently hostile towards whoever (or whatever) challenges her superiority. Any challenge to her "specialness," whether real or perceived, requires an counterattack to preserve her incredibly fragile ego. This helps to explain why Lori reacts so strangely and aggressively to things that emotionally healthy individuals wouldn't consider worthy of a second thought. As mentioned by other users, people with NPD are notoriously difficult to treat due to the nature of their condition. If Lori's narcissistic symptoms are as pathological as they seem, there's unfortunately a very low chance that she will ever voluntarily seek out the psychological help she so desperately needs.
As far as I can tell, it was purely just because Zero Two (for a very brief while) was kind of the 'it' anime waifu for the time. From the start, Darling in the Franxxx was the big, up-and-coming mecha anime that I saw a lot of people touting as "The NEW Gundam Wing!", with Gundam Wing being regarded as one of the ultimate classics, has aged well, and the 'best of the best' in all mech-oriented anime (there's a lot of argument there amongst different fandoms, but that's a whole 'nother thing). Basically, to most weebs, Gundam Wing is to Mecha anime as Sailor Moon is to Magical Girl anime. So, for another anime - and a newer one, at that, during a time of "drought" of sorts - to come out and be able to win over the approval of the weird elitist weebs that hate everything made after the 90s? It was a pretty big deal, so Darling in the Franxxx enjoyed a huge boost in popularity, and of course the human-klaxosaur 'boku' became the inevitable waifu bait for the thirsty weebs to cling to. And as is typical with those situations, more and more merch was released featuring her, from her normal appearance to the spacesuit, to the typical 'sexy' alternative versions, and Zero Two became the face of the anime.I understand the fascination with Usagi and why Lori latched onto her so much but can someone who is more well versed in anime explain why she skinwalked Zero Two to nearly the same extent? As far as I know from an outsider's standpoint, Zero Two and Usagi aren't much alike. Does anyone have any insight on that?

However, that popularity lasted only a short while, as Darling in the Franxxx had just hit its peak before the last few episodes came out, which were received so badly by the audience that the anime barely ever gets brought up at all. If it does, it's either to just reminisce in the earlier episodes, or to basically compare it to Game of Thrones and get huffy about how such a good show was ruined by such a "half-assed ending" (which tbh, really wasn't as bad as people made it sound, but I digress).
My guess is that Lori got into the Zero Two fad during the big height of the character's popularity. Probably having grown tired of skinwalking as Usagi Tsukino for decades and maybe seeing the decline in Sailor Moon's popularity (the earlier seasons of Sailor Moon Crystal did not do the fans any favors), Lori probably saw all the sperging over Darling in the Franxxx, saw people fawning over Zero Two as THE supreme waifu, and just rolled with it.
You're right in the sense that they're very different characters. Usagi is a clumsy, ditzy, immature, normal girl at most times, really only diverting from that when she's pushed to her limit (like watching her friends die) or when she realizes she has to approach a situation differently. Yes she's all delicate and dainty and whatever, but I will say, for being a princess, Usagi really does just act like a normal teen girl at most points. She's an average girl who just happened to be a Moon Princess, not a Moon Princess pretending to be a normal girl. Zero Two, however, grew up borderline feral and was treated as a monster all throughout her childhood, and has the personal end goal to become fully human no matter what (thus erasing what makes her different/special, as it's depicted as a burden). She's not a princess, not really even given special treatment (not in a positive way, anyway), and actually is drawn to her love interest because he doesn't treat her any differently from some random Joe at a diner. She is brash, rude, blunt, abrasive, and really only makes an exception for Hiro for anything.
In a sense, Usagi and Zero Two are polar opposites, in many ways. But, there are some very subtle connections here. Both characters are the big "uber specials" in their stories. Just as if you take out Usagi and Sailor Moon can't exist, and Darling in the Franxxx can't exist without Zero Two. Both are the big players that keep the plot moving, and they are the ones who get the most attention from both other characters and from the audience of fans. Both are the "special ones", with an enigmatic beauty, always misunderstood, and neither are technically human, which makes them above all others in some fashion. Both have unique powers and/or capabilities, and an appearance that sets them apart from anyone else, thus drawing in all the attention from anyone around them. List could go on, but there are similarities there.
Honestly, Zero Two may actually appeal more to Lori, because unlike with Sailor Moon, there are no other women that can even compete with Zero Two's popularity, so Lori would have that spotlight all to herself. The few times competition of any sort shows up in the anime itself, Zero Two acts out in either a very under-handed way or a very childish way, and it's played as this endearing "Aw she just doesn't know any better, she's just had a hard life!" thing. Zero Two does get reprimanded on occasion, sure, but it's never taken seriously. She bosses Hiro around, treats him more like he's her own personal toy than an actual boyfriend/husband, but he's just Basic Anime Male so of course he finds it cute. Zero Two hates humans as a majority because of how she was treated when a child, and has let that develop as "You humans are all so inferior to me and no nothing of suffering". Hiro's love for her, much like Mamoru with Usagi, transcends time and space and never waivers no matter what Zero Two does or says. Unlike with Usagi, skinwalking as Zero Two not only allows Lori to "own the hayurs" online, but now she can also really play up the "Muh Bad Childh00d" simpering for some pity points. Just like in the show!
For decades now, Lori has shown time and again that she thinks of herself as superior to all other humans, and seems to harbor and special kind of bitter jealousy for other women. She doesn't really love her partners, but wants the constant attention and the fawning over her "otherworldly beauty" that only a romantic partner can provide. She wants to be able to brag to others that, much like in Sailor Moon and Darling in the Franxxx, someone loves her so, so much that it will last for all eternity. He will love her through death and reincarnation, and stars will die before a shred of his admiration ever will.
It's both childishly ridiculous, and saddening. I'd feel bad if it weren't glaringly obvious this is all by her own doing.
It's most likely the "Snow" app. It can edit both videos and photos, and give some truly alien results with little effort.Honestly, what face app does this woman use? Because that shit is some sorcery.
I don’t take selfies, so I don’t know what’s normal practice, but it seems like she must take hundreds of photos of herself in order to get one good shot. I can’t imagine not wanting to die of embarrassment from such obvious narcissism.

I suppose she also smiles less often than Usagi does in her source material. But yeah in the end it all boils down to Lorena Cerda/Usagi Kou(nt) just loves to be a cunt. You've been given the long answers, but the simple, short answer is that Zero Two is a cunt and that's easier for Lori emulate than Usagi who is a kind hearted selfless person.

I do not know how the american retirement system works but here in my country you have to work to contribute to your future retirement. If you do not work a full time job for most of your life you only get what the government gives you and that is so little that it mostly leaves you starving.
Lori is a beautiful, ageless vampire with flawless genes who will never, ever age and will continue to milk lonely neckbeards and pedos for all they're worth with her totally-not-filtered-to-Hell legitimate cosplay that she clearly puts so much work into. At least, that's what she thinks. There is one thing that I always wonder about these cows: She has no job, right and probably no savings either. Do these cows never think about the future? What they will do at the age of 50 or even save for retirement? Do they think they die before that age?

Also looking at her IG all she posts is in her room. She is never outside but buys shit clothes she only wears at home. At least Kitty and Moo shoot outside. The later even naked in fucking snow. (In before Lori shoots outside. Hi, Loony!)
At least back then she left her room and went outside. Now she is completely shut in.
She's been hinting at Saber since 2014, but she's too lazy and slutty for a legit cosplay. Never in a million years would Looni put on a gown and armor like that. She likes looking boyish, but only when the characters are slutty or lusted after by other characters (her Sailor Moon gender bend/crossplays sum it up perfectly.) She would look like a pot-bellied little boy with the face of a middle aged woman in Artoria's main garb. So I think we aren't gonna see a skinwalk saga. We definitely are going to see a bunch of bikini "cosplays" of her though. Maybe she'll go 110% and wear skimpy metal armor and hold a sword wrong too!Seems now she thinks shes artoria from her new tags so be prepared for a new skin walk saga
