Penny lived most of his life in CO. He probably didn't want to be too far away from his old comforts and mighthave idealized farms he drove past for most of his life as "simple, honest, commerad work". Penny probably knew that ranching was ok, and decided not to research further due to hubris and apathy. I'm pretty sure he didn't know any other farmers on a first name basis who could have given him advice before he began desertifying his own land. Paul used to be in NY iirc and he'd know jack shit about rural life let alone Colorado's landscape and farming conditions, so he probably just said "yeah cool penny you're from here you know the land and we can farm we're QUEER women". Basically, like everything else, convience and want without research leads to terrible purchasing and long term choice making. This thread is consistently wondering how bone headed they can be and then watching that expectation be broken.Yeah but seriously nobody stupid can survive on a desert area, maybe if they knew what they were doing. It wouldn’t involve alpacas holy shit
God bless America, central cooling I loooooveee....The US has a little bit of everything for everyone. It's probably why the Eurotrash despise us so. That and central air conditioning.
