Jim has always defined himself in opposition to something. In opposition to furries, in opposition to trannies, in opposition to pedophiles, in opposition to Tumblrettes, in opposition to censorship, etc. many of these causes are noble but fundamentally defining yourself by what you dont like means you have no solid ground to stand on. It's fine when Jim is making fun of people and things who really deserve it, but when he's talking about actual politics with rare exceptions its pretty clear that he just has a bone to pick rather than any real convictions.

I mean there were some shitters in his first term, the biggest problem with Trump 1.0 (and I think what Jim's biggest criticism was) was that Trump didn't fucking do anything. He was just a SITUATION MONITOOOOOOR OH GOD I'M MONITOOOORING the whole time through, and chickened out when it came time to pardon the January 6 people or handle the BLM rioters. Say what you like about Trump 2.0 and you can certainly say something about people like Bondi or Kashapp Patel but at least he's doing something. Let's not pretend that John Bolton or Jeff Sessions were any better than what we have now.

I don’t think anything happened to Jim in particular, he just became a faggot.
