Hell I've fed some snakes who, uh, are a little touched to put it lightly. Especially since some had legit neurological issues, like ball pythons with the spider gene.
Plus in the wild, both the predator and prey have more space to escape if they need. In a captive enclosure there's not that so if the predator doesn't attack first the prey can corner and kill it.

I know there are tons of different forms of Buddhism but isn't treating animals kindly emphasized in all?
From my understanding, unlike in Christianity where you take a permanent monastic vow, it is perfectly possible to go in and out of monastic life in Buddhism. Therefore it is very common in SEA for families to send their boys to a monastery for a couple of weeks, or for young men to spend a month there. This is probably what this is, not that they were full-on proper monks. Also yes, you can't even (intentionally) kill bugs.

i really wonder how these people can live through such extreme cognitive dissonance. i known a religious guy that had a bit of a crisis after he thought it might be sinful to smoke cigarettes. it was enough to make the guy reevaluate all kinds of things in his life. if just a pack of smokes could do that to someone, how the serious fuck do these 'people' live with the fact that they love to witness and fund the torture of baby fucking monkeys.

Phone posting at the moment, so I can't provide an autistic amount of examples, but in this case, one only needs to type in "mating" on YouTube to be met with what I'm describing. But if you're hesitant, I'll try to summarize.
1. You have educational videos, obviously for the purpose of educating (National Geographic type content), well for the most part used for educating.
2. "Haha xD dog humping lmao" type videos. Okay, yeah, for the people who upload these videos sex=comedy gold to them and I guess non-human sex = comedy platinum? It's bizarre people upload this shit, but I guess them telling me lol it's funny in the title makes it less zoophilic. This kind of content imo is like on the line of being straight-up zoo-pornography. And that comes down to if the title is merely a façade and the uploader is legitimately a zoophile (think of it as someone being out with friends seeing someone fursuiting and him saying "haha what an autismo" whilst having some autistic fursuiting fantasies in his head. It's not like hypocrisy, I don't know how to describe it.
3. This is a more broad type of content that can consist of legitimate animal breeders on farms and kennels etc. and zoophiles who are just outright open about it in the way they title stuff. (I'll get examples when I'm at my PC)
The legitimate breeders, especially dog breeders, now I could be totally wrong about this, have video of the dogs (I hate to use this term unironically) knotted, which probably shows any potential clients that the dog they're are getting is actually the breed they want (like "this apple came from this tree, I even recorded myself picking this apple, so you know for sure that it came from this specific tree"), the same probably holds true for breeders of other animals too. I've come across videos like these with the number to wherever they do the breeding. Malnois dogs or however you spell it are a popular dog in Vietnam so you end up seeing these "advertisements" for such breeders if you search through this stuff in Vietnamese. I would say like 95% of them who upload this stuff are just advertising whatever dogs they breed.
Sidenote: for 1, 2, 3 a lot of these videos are explicit and is probably considered zoo-pornography to certain groups of people and probably shouldn't be on YouTube at all. Some of this stuff isn't age-gated so if someone's child is watching a documentary on like wolves or something, they might end up seeing up-close animal fucking if the settings are set to autoplay.
4. There are myriads of accounts on YouTube which basically hoard content found in 1,2, and 3. These uploaders are probably all zoophiles basically aggregating animal fucking videos and uploading them to their own channel (most of the time).
Number 4 is what needs to be looked into further and I mean a lot further.
Totally not weird at all that they start the thread with that child abuse video again.
Not sure how many have watched all of YardFish's videos on these guys but here's his google drive folder with scientific articles and also about how Zoosadism is linked to Pedophilia and Coprophilia.
Even if the indiviual is not into that stuff, they are surrounded by people that are, so have fun knowing the other monkeyfuckers you are talking to, and associating with, are into kids and scat.
