Anyway, once again Chris whines about how no one on the internet cares about him by... posting it on the internet.
And he complains how no one in reality acknowledges him by... staying at home and playing on his Wii U.

Everyone acknowledges him. There's a wiki and a discussion board dedicated to him. His HS friends' FBs are buzzing w talk about him. The problem is actually that nobody acknowledges the "Him" that Chris wants them to acknowledge, preferring to judge him based on the shit he's said and done rather than the narrative he puts forth.
You know, like anyone who isn't a complete idiot would do.

It's more that he's talking about people not kissing his ass when he goes to mcdonalds. In Chris' fantasy world, everyone would be running up to him on the sidewalk and begging him to be their friend or heartsweet. Begging? In Chris's fantasy world, no one would beg Chris for anything. All the ladies would be getting their bend on while all the men killed each other to be his servants. No prompt whatsoever.

I guess my brain doesn't ever think about that one even though it's Chris's go-to gripe about life. Probably because it's so fucking ridiculous that my brain rejects it. When will Chris learn that we on the forum are actually some of the few people on the internet who want to see him improve? We certainly care, but he won't be getting any ass pats from us because we are the aloof parent who loves their kid but doesn't shower them with praise until they actually acomplish something.

What Marvin said makes me wonder about this in the bigger picture. Like in relation to how he truly thought he was world famous for the creation of Sonichu. I wonder if he realizes that this is just how normal people live their lives, without people wanting to suck their dicks 24/7 or he thinks that he's being left out and everyone else gets way more appreciation than him.

Perhaps I'm holding out senseless hope here but, nevertheless, I am hopeful that this feeling of being lost leads to some development on OPL's part. Perhaps the beginning stages of a working theory of mind leading to Chrissy finally understanding that his behavior has been alienating himself from people.
Just a shot in the dark and I'm 99% sure it'll just be business as usual for him.
In spite of all that though; I hope. If only because I think that watching Chris actually begin to rebuild himself from all of this could potentially be just as fascinating as his descent into the present wreck we all know and love.

Chris can only begin to rebuild himself when he realizes why he's at rock bottom. That he's the problem, not the trolls, the haters, the jerks (mana- and -op included). His behavior is what drives people away from him. Unfortunately, he has an impressive ego and victim complex and is convinced he is the good guy. Until his enablers leave him be and life gets way past hard, he is never going to see the light. Chris will continue to be Chris as long as he's allowed to be Chris.Afinepickle said:

He probably prefers to think he's being left out. Chris goes out of his way to feel persecuted. Above all else Chris wants to be a victim because being a victim gets him attention, sympathy, and asspats without him actually having to do anything. In his mind it also automatically makes him the hero of the video game of his life.

I don't see how being a victim would make oneself a hero but then again this is Chris we're talking about. I think he's lost because his parents did not give him proper guidance about life and just treated him as a retarded child with no future because of his autism. But most of the fault tends to be on Chris himself since he always wants the easy way out in life and look where he's at; lost in life. He doesn't know anything because he does not go out to experience life and he is lost because he does not use his life experience to build himself a path in his life. I of course am really curious to see where 2014 will go with this and I'd be surprised if he or even Barb survives that year.
Off topic: makes me wonder what will be the fate of his dogs too next year.

Then he was finally faced with the harsh reality that none of them even liked him and only hung out with him out of pity, and even worse, they're laughing at him. Something that he clinged so hard onto suddenly broke apart, of course he's going to be facing a crisis. Maybe he even also realized that his legion of 10000000+ fans doesn't actually exist. But, he had to find out sooner or later. From here he can only go upwards.

Although nowadays, most of his thinking is focused on just the "I'm sad, pity me" part instead of the "I'll ultimately succeed" part.
This is very easy to understand. Chris whines about his troubles because the hero of the story always has enemies. He has to have something to struggle against. Now, ultimately, the hero wins and beats the enemies, but he still needs to have something to struggle against at first, because the story needs a plot. Chris likes to feel like he's the persecuted hero so he can get pitied, but he still likes to feel like he'll ultimately succeed.Fuzzy Wuzzy said:
