Facebook 2014-01-29 FB: BIG BOX of stuff

From my interpretation of this post, there's two parts:
1) The first paragraph is recognition of a "big box of stuff"
2) The second paragraph is detailing what was acquired from 2 different people at the StateFarm agent's office.

The usage of the term "care package" seems a bit out of Chris' daily vocabulary, but those words were used in the note left inside the box, which makes me believe he did finally get it and this is his acknowledgement of it.

And to anyone wondering, yes, someone did screw with the package. I posted the tracking number not thinking it would be used for anything other than tracking, but someone used it and requested that the package get held at the FedEx office. It seemed unlikely Chris would ever trust anyone enough to drive 20 minutes to pick up a box from questionable sources, but it seems Mimms (or someone using his name) has backed up its existence which motivated Chris to go get it.


Update 1
Chris believed the money order sent along with the package was faulty because I did not sign it.

After running to my bank and back, it turns out that I (thankfully) didn't fuck up and that money orders they distribute are automatically printed with the signature of the bank. This status has been taken down, which leads me to believe he's successfully cashed it.

It's funny. To anyone who didn't know about the care package, that line just comes out of the blue. I mean, he's talking about getting a big box and thanking people for it then to immediately go and say tear down the cwcki. I'm just hoping someone asks why he said that, prompting bad behavior, or someone commenting they were nice enough to send him so much. Way more than Anna or the Weird Al impersonator did.

He's referring to the CWCki site, not the forums. The two are only loosely affiliated. Although I'm not sure if he makes that distinction in his mind, and funny enough the site seems to be down at the moment.

No, but I take the deletion of the "angry" message to be a sign that he has cashed the check successfully.

He's referring to the CWCki site, not the forums. The two are only loosely affiliated. Although I'm not sure if he makes that distinction in his mind, and funny enough the site seems to be down at the moment.

Null, you did a great job coordinating this, gathering the donations and shopping for really thoughtful and useful items (I don't care what anyone says, there is nothing like a new pair of socks). You worked like hell to get this done and shipped off and we all owe you are really big thank you. If MommyVac and The Gift That Keeps On Giving don't appreciate it, fuck 'em, I appreciate your amazing effort -- you'll always be my favorite Dodo Brain....

Well, almost none of PVCC fucked with Chris. Very quickly, people who were really into Chris on PVCC got made fun of. The people who were actively fucking with Chris did it from mumble.

I love the "Dodo Brains" post. Classic Chris. Someone goes to a lot of trouble to help him, but there's something wrong with it, so all humility, appreciation and gratitude goes out of the window. Of course, he still wants the money, so he still demands that people go out of their way to help him even after being insulted.

Champ said Hulk was from PVCC. I forget who he said it was, I was never too big on PVCC so a lot of the people I only know their names if anything at all.
