[21 June 2021] Sony shows Darksydephil as a case study of game design - Literally using DSP as the lowest common denominator to idiot-proof their games

This is the same shit they used for OG vanilla World of Warcraft. This isn't anything new or groundbreaking it's about rewarding the player with progression.

It's so things don't set into a grind and all you're doing is having repetition until you're allowed to experience the brand new thing.

Lmao DSP has taught game devs how to to cater to literal retards.
DSP is one level below retarded though. You can have a game with big-ass neon signs saying what to do and where to go and DSP will STILL complain about SOMETHING.

This doesn't surprise me though. Sony, as a video game company, have been making assinine decisions that cause them to keep failing, and the worst part is that they learn the wrong fucking lessons from it. If this is the kind of audience they want to cater to, then let them. The sooner this company goes under, the better.

I think my favorite part of this is DSP thinking he has some sort of lawsuit here he can win.

Please Santa, I know lately I've been asking for a lot of shitshows to come to full fruition so I can laugh, but I will be the bestboi for the rest of my life if you get DSP to try to sue Sony over this and they bend him over backwards and proceed to ass fuck him into a second bankruptcy.

LMAO. If Sony were actually to create a game based around DSP's ability to play it, it would have an Internet browser in the corner of the screen that only links to a detailed walkthrough of the game. And because DSP is too retarded to understand the concept of "settings," it would be the default, unalterable option.
