I'd like to point out that the original argument wasn't even whether Irish are part of the white race or not, but if they're a proper 'race' to begin with.

My personal theory is not that the Irish or Italians have themselves gotten more white it's just that the world has "discovered" much worse options (Jeets, Spics) that made Irish and Italians seem like Aryans by comparison.

They ended up splintering from each other when the xenophobia got so bad boards would ban any one not part of their echo chamber for being from another site.
