There's actually a whole reason why people joke about American cheese.
The knock off brands use hydrogenated oil replacing the whey and milk with cheap seed oils - these do not melt as you say.
I just couldn't help myself with the /pol/ bant but I am a true Tillamook fan, they make the best cheese here in the states. The 15 year aged cheddar is my go to.

I already did this when m00t left. Went on a year and a half exodus. Reddit, 8chan, Twitter, etc. Hated most of it, one exceptionally lonely night staring at the Twitter feed I decided to finally turn tail back to 4chan.

What I came to realize is that a website you've been on since you were a middle schooler, retarded as it is to say, whether you like it or not, becomes a home for you. I've been on 4chan since 2007, and god willing, I'll be on 4chan until I'm old and grey
