The fact that frogs, wojaks became more mainstream and posted overall than ragefaces eludes me. Seeing a Troll Face in 2018 was bizarre but rare, seeing a new wojak variant with Gen Z hair but now hes screaming in 2024 was visual cancer.
The total amount of people using the internet increased so everything else followed. With how every community and group on the internet is subsumed by big tech and at the same time censored and strangled when it comes to differentthink, creativity died and any true innovation was akin to a ray of light, everyone jumping in on the new thing. The problem is most people are creatively bankrupt, so they spam the same thing over and over til they suck all the joy out it, and variations of the existent became the artistic ceiling. This is the result of internet becoming srs business and no fun allowed, all guided by corporate hands who only see numbers.
The overall mental state of the internet is in the gutters, dysengenic memes like soyjacks are the symptom. Grotesque and repulsive imagery is how internet anons express their inner anguish a la angry person throwing shit around. In the same vein pepes and frenposting is how people combat this sickness, being childlike, simple and friendly and showing the users' desire to get back to those earlier ages, this is why pepe is still alive.
What I'm trying to say is, unless you niggers start making OC, your souls will die.

Gematria is (mostly) schizophrenia as far as I'm concerned, but timing events and happenings so big events coincide with specific dates in a timeline for comms purposes is plausible, and doesn't require paranormal (dubious) thinking.
As to meaning, who knows. Its tough to read code language if the message isn't meant for you.
I say mostly because even if people use it for schizo shit, its an actual cipher. It is possible (likely) jews (and maybe others) use it to pass each other notes.
Auspicious dates and numbers are common and choosing some specific times is omnipresent in human culture. To give the most banal example possible, you wouldn't make some major announcement on April 1st if you can easily push it to the 2nd or 3rd, or making a big change at the first of the month. If you aren't lacking in time it pays off to set it up so it aligns just right, even if it's only to soothe your consciousness. How much importance you give to it depends on the person and group, but if you can do it you do it, and as you said comms.
It's why satanic elite theories are both shizo and true, there is an occult element to their madness, so expecting symbolism from them is a given. Not everything but enough for some to be a clue.

Hopefully the botfarms get their funding reallocated away now that 4chan's userbase is going to be reduced by like 50% or more lol. Longer downtime = less people go back or at least actively = less interest by special interests to bot spam. Even the airforce will probably let up on the propaganda spam if it ever comes back online since /k/ and /pol/ will be ghost towns.
The mods deserve the blame for all the useless bot-spam recently. It's pretty obvious the mods were artificially pushing the same demoralizing threads to the top while filtering out any good threads. I wouldn't mind it if /pol/ is a ghost town because that place was dead years ago.

1 week into the great 4chan outage, been seeing some news articles ponder if 4chan is dead-dead

has anything actually changed? assuming it's all just controlling the narrative

recall that WE too supposedly "died-died" a few years back, and with lots of gravedancing to go. yet here we are

tbh the captcha thing meant it was probably already on its way out for a while
