They could definitely be regular /trash/ users. Not really. Lot of Chan culture here and 4chan frequenters. This is just classic tribalism. You even see it here. From people in lolcow threads thinking they're better than other lolcow threads, people in salon being alien to everyone else, and everyone beating the dead horse that is A&N BAAAAAD. I think part of it is the tribalism that @God of Nothing mentioned, but also there are a lot of people from sites like Reddit that now post on 4chan; types who are aware of the oppressive tendencies of Reddit and its jannies, but at the same time hold many of the same views but with a bit of edge or at least tolerance for it. Basically like Destiny fans who would still laugh at a tranny joke, but will also be happy to see you get deplatformed for it.

Like others have said its most likely simple tribalism or Fed plants hoping to establish the narrative of "Kiwi Farms Bad".
