I remember if enough people spammed reports at each other when slapfighting, a janitor would go on a rampage banning everyone including bystanders. Usually few survivors remained after the janitor massacre,
 
I think I cracked the /v/ code: the majority of threads are about things they hate because they're poor neets or thirdies that can't afford video games, so they have "fun" shitting on them instead.

These guys are so fucking cringe it's unreal. I routinely do a wide search of altchans and other imageboards, mostly because I've already been doing that for about fifteen years. It's turned out to be an interesting indicator for the speciation of internet communities. Petrarchan is a fake imageboard. It was made by people who have no experience with 4chan, but have come to admire it in the past few years because it's now an incredibly visible right wing honeypot. The very structure of the website is out of touch; uploaded images do not display the filename. There is no native autofill for replies, you need to manually type ">>(post ID)" to contextualize your reply. The former has cultural significance on basically all imageboards and the latter is a webdev oversight that, at first, made me think the website itself was made with ulterior motives. The posters all seem like east coast trust fund kids, which is a really fucking weird vibe for an imageboard for obvious reasons. They seem to only know about the site from Red Scare. Haven't read the zine yet but I expect it to be gay as shit and up its own ass. No real point to this reply other than stating that the vibes are shit and I kinda wanna destroy it.

I cant seem to post at all. It gives the 120s timer, but when it reaches 0 it just resets.
Is this some sort of informal ban?
I tried it again on a browser i never used 4chan on before, and I still got the infinitimer.

Clean your cookies, sometimes bad cookies causes issues like that. Also if you get the timer on one tab/window, don't request a new captcha on another tab/window or you're gonna have to do it all over again. In the case you manage to post and then you get another 120 sec captcha again, try making a thread (you'll have to wait 300 sec) and see if that fixes it after.
