What happened to the flags on /pol/?

ok nvm they just didnt load for some reason lol, I thought they actually fucking removed flags for a second

I fucking hate when jannytroons just blanket ban everyone in a thread for the sin of posting in a """off-topic""" (translation: thread they don't like) thread. It's a super good idea to nuke 150 ips and tank board activity for three days obviously.
Nuking everyone replying to a "is coffee good for you" might cause people to stop replying to garbage threads and they'll die on their own. Now one guy makes a shit thread, 100 people spampost it, and only one person get banned.

Nobody gives a shit about being banned, ban evasion is basically a sport

Here's an unashamed coomer from /v/ on some gacha game thread:

This guy really ought to be in one of 4chan's adult boards instead.

I was told my captcha would get better as the stored cookie in my browser ages. Completely false. I'm still being required to do 3 of them each time I want to post. This just isn't worth it for shitposting about books.

I know all of you 4chan guys value your anonymity, but I'd really like if they just required us to make accounts. First of all, you're not actually anonymous. 4chan keeps track of your ip, and your browser fingerprint. An account feature would cut down the spam and the bot presence. Just don't display your account in your posts, and what's the issue?

Email verification would at least help cut down on the schizo and bot issue.

I will accept all of your trash cans for this heinous sin of wanting to fix 4chan.

I have to do only two for normal posts, and they're the super easy "spot the odd one out" kind (no time wasting star counting)
Good for you? I have to do three every time I want to post. It's always two of the "find the image that has exactly 2 stars with 5 spikes" and 1 "find the image indicated on the left." They're not hard, but it's enough of a hassle that I just don't want to use the site any more.

Jesus Christ this captcha. I felt the urge to return and shitpost with my lads on /int/ after like 6 months off, but god damn, I'm gone for good now.
My lads told me it would get easier if i just posted, but i think my autismal level of anti-tracking and privacy shit is fucking that up cause it just got worse.

I started getting "find the image that's not like the others" and motherfucker, its all gibberish and tetris blocks and i only have like 10 seconds to figure it out, lmao.
No, I'm out, this is insane.
I don't need to know what my lads ate for dinner that much, its always eggs anyway, fuckers love eggs.

Not happening, websites do not die nowadays people are too comfortable on 4chan or reddit, all the alt chans were alive when the hack happened but what happened when 4cuck came back? They all went crawling back and the altchans went back to being dead. 4chan lost users but its still gonna power on.
Something Awful, a site that lost almost all of its Internet cultural relevance before the Great Recession, is still around, at least in the sense of it still has users and you can still make an account, although I don’t see why you’d want to. Despite being a complete shell of its former self, it’s still “alive” in the sense that it’s online and people still use it. It’s been a zombie website arguably for longer than it’s been online, yet it still exists.

I have a feeling 4chan has gone down the same path. It’s become a zombie website with almost no influence over current internet culture, and it attracts very few new users because nobody wants to engage in the shit quality discussion there. But it shambles on, kept alive by the efforts of its admins and tranny jannies.

In general finding good places to talk about hobbies or interests online now is basically impossible. 4chins is dead, every single subreddit is an astroturfed political circlejerk, Discord is Discord, and Xitter/Threads/Poosky are legitimately unusable if you have an IQ over 20.

If you ever check my profile I mostly use kiwis off topic section to talk about hobbies lol

Theyre all usable but you wont get the same experience you expected as an oldfag. New users coming to 4chan, Xitter and Reddit will get an experience but it will be all they know so it will be new to them. Reddit is the only one which is completely shitty, the others are bad but not shitty to use. 4chan and Xitter have a slop problem, with Xitter funnelling users towards slop unless they ridiculously police their feeds and 4chan is just full of porn or ragebait. Among the boards I browse regularly, /vst/ and /vr/ are the only good boards without this problem. Ironically, the only site apart from KF which is very good with UX is NewGrounds, which is ironic cause its also pozzed in comparison to its heyday. Despite being full of underage trannies and niggers, its still a very cool site and gives you top notch shit from the get go, probably cause Tom Fulp is just a very cool dude.

The blue section is great, but it’s not perfect. There are definitely things that just don’t get talked on there because people here don’t care about them. I also feel like it’s easier to powerlevel and reveal embarrassing shit on 4chan because there are no accounts, for better or for worse.

I’ve used Xitter a few times, and each time I quit because my feed degenerated into complete shit. The last time I used it was about a year ago, and my feed suddenly got derailed from being about sports to being a bunch of ragebait progressive politics to the point where I deleted my account that same day. My guess is because I blocked Libs of TikTok and other engagement bait accounts that were shitting up my feed and I had been liking too many NBA Xitter xeets, and because most of NBA Xitter is filled with obnoxious white progressives, the algorithm thought I was one of those.

My feeds full of movieslop like instagram reels, politics sperging about jews n shit which I dont mind and vidya game shit. I think it funnels users towards politics shit and slop content, which is what I said but if you click not interested for at least 5 of those, it goes away permanently. Thats how I got rid of black twitter from my feed.

Props to 4chan for being remarkably self-aware about the vast majority of its userbase, although it's probably too irrelevant to drive much traffic to their advertisers now.

And I highly doubt that NEETs would have much money unless they gamed the welfare system or have massive inheritances.

NEETs usually claim to abuse both the social security system (infamous "autismbux") and the goodwill of their parents. So even though they don't have much they also don't have to pay rent and bills. Shopping for grocieres is often a foreign concept as well. All of this puts them ahead of the "wagecucks" in terms of disposable income.

NEETs aren't wealthy but they do usually have some money because of the former. You've never heard the 'autismbux' references or pushed one of them enough for them to sperg out about their supposed crippling illnesses? You've never wondered how a guy who doesn't work has a room filled with consumerism? Combine that with virtually no expenses and they can usually front some cash, which they usually sink directly into their hobbies.
