Really crazy to experience just how many posters are banned now, you see threads overwhelmingly in favor of one side with just the odd poster here and there arguing the other. Whereas before it would be total war.

The current state of the site is abysmal, the 15 minute timer on posts really doesn't do much to stop spam seeing as the ones shitting up threads know how to evade bans, also the "discourse" has been so thoroughly deluded to the point it is now where every user just throws buzzwords around without adding something of value to discussions.

I was there to see it die. Coomers ruined the board, and then turned it into a shithole. This right here is the real beginning of the downfall, GamerGate was just the point where most users got the memo.
I have hated porn addicts ever since the fappening, there is nothing good that ever comes from them and they ruin everything they touch. Just look how much more degenerate our society is since internet porn has more or less been made mainstream and the concept of "kink shaming" arose. One of the more promising, 8chan.moe, killed itself not just from being filled to the brim with coomers but the most degenerate kind due to lack of any supervision and being relatively unknown: Lolicon, /delicious/ which is the western variant of lolicon, zoophilia, interracial porn, diapers and of course, if the site owner would have his way, pictures of real children. All that, along with more "mundane" pornography being posted casually killed any potential the site had. It's maddening how so many people only see imageboards as yet another bookmark when they go gooning.
