People are too put off 8chan (for historical reasons), lain is ran by brony, endchan is just... endchan and still cancer, all the other chans that existed have been targeted for CP spam and taken out by what I am assuming is either glowniggers or shit like discord troons or political shit or something (I still remember shareblue and the leaks that proved they were hiring people to target such sites - do you?).

Why hasn't null started one? That could get rid of all of these garbage chans instantly and cause a mass exodus of the remaining legit users?

Been years since I've been on 4chan. It's so edgy, it's hilarious. As long as you aren't a member.

It hasn't been edgy since like 2016 when chans were targeted by banks and political relations firms in order to pacify it's effect on things like the market. I think Covid and Gamestop killed it the most though. Since then it's been completely downhill.

But personally, the moment you couldn't use TOR to post on it without some browser shenanigans to get around the captcha was the moment it stopped being anonymous and just became "anonymous to the unsophisticated public". Cops(and military OPSEC) and people with data profiling mechanisms can work around your "anonymity" on there because you can't change the IP easily, especially so with the 900sec timer. So real posters saying edgy shit get profiled and banned while shills and enforcement get away with it because they have resources to work around it and the leverage of money. Money now makes you the most anonymous nowadays. If you don't have money, you're a technocratic serf that has no ability to mask themselves.

So to me, this is basically the end of the public anonymous internet. Sure it was never truly anonymous to an extent, but nowadays it's absolutely not anonymous for people that don't have tools and sophistication. Mainly lawyers and money.

Covid was the biggest pusher for this. There was health protocol, lobbied largely by pharma and insurers to get rid of "disinformation". As we all know, that was just a lie to remove anonymity on the internet and leverage major corporations so that information about their snake oil products never gets through. In particular, pharma began to invest heavily into tech and things connected to the MIC (military industrial complex) to the point where it became the MIC.
That is how bad the state of affairs and the internet it. People are STILL in denial about this but it's literally a google away (for now, don't count on it being that way in the future given how badly Google is ruining it's SEO nowadays).

If you look at the rankings, you'll notice a large amount of pharma related firms in the top 50 or so that are also now leveraged in tech, marketing and other aspects of the MIC. That's why some CEOs and related heads of corporations are dying or disappearing for mysterious reasons (like that yacht that sank with a bunch of admins in Italy a few months ago). This isn't even going into things like public relations firms and other security firms and the general mechanics of big data. That's how dedicated the trolling is and how long it's been going on there. That's not the only sort of thread for it. You see it on other boards. Normally it's when the media content is "thunk-provoking" because I think the goal is to fuck up their legit fanbase and ruin any marketing momentum they get. Fuck me, don't even remind me of /mu/. It's been depressing since like 2010 or so when Kanye spam happened. That album was fucking mediocre trash and it was just getting spammed like hell and people just thought it was legit. Like hell it was. But it's much much worse now. Started with Kpop, then you had shit like beatles, 100 troon gecs and shit like that being spammed to high hell. For a small amount of time it was still coping with the spam until the Kpop shit started. Then it rapidly declined. I got banned for pointing out how fucking fake and astro'd those threads were. At that time though, we still had 8ch thriving before it got completely fucked up around 2016ish (though it was already iffy by 2015).

It seems people moved on to account media, but honestly that shit is even worse, because you point out astroturf and they'll ban you from forums. Especially discord. It doesn't help that they spiral into manic depressive episodes as hiveminds go. I kinda try them, give up, then try them when I get tired of bullshit astro crap on anonymous media again. I fucking loathe account media and banhammers. Either use them correctly and consistently or don't fucking use them at all. Have we not learnt from Snacks?

The troll (one of many) trying to get "meltdowns" in chans is probably like me and legit sees this phenomena on many forums because we've been on these places since the times when causing this shit was literally the fun of forums (and got old for me quick). 4chinz acting like they're oh so superior to KF will never not be funny. Sometimes discussions on this site are indistinguishable to threads on 4chan. But they have to insist that they're better than KF because... 4chan is the infamous Internet Hate Machine and Kiwi Farms is just some lame forum for discussing e-celebs? Even though 4chan also loves e-celeb gossip threads and discussion whenever they're able to have it before it gets swept up and boards like /v/ or /g/ are not that much different than this site's off-topic boards like Games or Internet & Technology when actual discussion and not standard thread shitting takes place.

That's about it, 4chan has more noise than signal due to how easy it is to shit things up there compared to KF and has rampant degeneracy, but the core on-topic audience is essentially the same. If they were to move here all at once they'd fit right in and have a better time, and that would leave 4chan with only the worst of the worst, pure noise and zero signal. It's some twisted sense of platform loyalty that makes them insist they're different and better than KF.
