4chan was the only reason I browsed the internet outside of checking emails. Was first introduced to it by a friend in college in 2010 after being told how funny the racism was and how much gore there was on /b/. After lurking on /b/ for a good while, I left once the bananaposting became too much to bear, and mostly lurked /pol/ and /v/. The 2016 election, HWNDU, and the Gamestop/AMC shorting were generally fun periods. Feels oddly liberating and sad at the same time seeing it down for this long. I guess nothing ever stays the same in life, everything (billions) must die at some point. Figure I'll spend more time with the people that actually matter in my life and touch grass more. I'll always hold these memories fondly.
Goodbye 4chan, I guess I really wasn't there forever after all.
