Exactly.

It was always a psychological weapon but it was just scaled up and deployed against the population much more aggressively the last few years. There's lads doing good autistic work on the influence think tanks like Tavistock institute and intelligence agencies have on creating culture, fascinating stuff if even only half of it is true. Very little enters the culture organically, you'd be amazed how much 'culture' was carefully crafted and painstakingly researched.

For off the wall news it was OK for sometimes being hours ahead of normienet for stories
But you can find the same shit that would be screencapped for happening threads at the screencap threads source which is shitter.com
Im scrolling their news feeds right now and have a page in 6 different altchans boards

It's a little more work but I am actually getting a lot more relevant news than waiting around on 4chan all morning for the next article to get spammed in 20+ threads

If you know how to use search engines finding global news and happenings can be faster than browsing 4chins, the only thing missing is niched discussion about said news
