There was some recent drama over on /toy/ a few weeks ago because of an On n' Off spammer.
I don't know the details other than he makes multiple threads with a youtuber's face (Retroblast I think) in the OP while dedicating the threads to childishly sperging about him. An anon made there way to the good'ol IRC channel to ask a mod to deal with this issue.
No.

There‘s a board on 4chan called /toy/ were anonymous posters argue over which toys were better?

Not even the Retro Video Game Console board that they on have there is childish like that.

(if you disagreed with anything someone else said, you were automatically an actual paid shill)
This is way too true and way too infuriating, and a huge part of why normal discourse is borderline impossible on /pol/ these days. Last I went there was for the Darrell Brooks trial threads and noticed how this place is going downhill by the week. It's impossible to browse without a shitload of filters. And even when you filter 130+ threads(
1667166945500.png
) it's still a giant cesspool.
>flat earth thread
>disagree with op
>get called NASA shill trying to keep people ignorant
>agree with op
>get called CIA shill making conspiracy theorists look retarded

>thread about Putin fighting against globohomo, bringing peace and prosperity to the world
>disagree with op
>get called NATO tranny shill
>agree with op
>get called vatnik zigger shill

And it just goes on forever. Few years ago I thought people were just memeing, and maybe they were in the beginning. Now every difference of opinion is viewed as paid shilling. According to /pol/'s collective logic, the board is bots and CIA/NATO/NASA/KGB/MOSSAD/JIDF/CHINA shilling against each other. A remarkably retarded collective of people.

There should be a mandatory course you have to take before posting on imageboards that covers such areas as
  • How to spot a b8 post
  • How to filter threads/posts
  • How to hide posts you don't like
  • How to not respond to a post that's already received 15 (You)s already (all saying the same thing you're about to post)

And a ban for replying to obvious baits. Cant tell if it's constant influx of new users or trolls, but the people replying to "Who is the cutest trans actress" and derivative threads on /tv/ deserve the rope.

Not only is it impossible to have normal discourse but it's becoming harder and harder for new memes to take shape.

Take goyslop for instance, for a way too on the nose /pol/ism it had a lot of memetic potential. The unprivileged commoner (goy) is expected to consume foodstuff which is designed only to be palatable and not nourishing (slop.)
However, using goyslop to exclusively refer to fast/junk food lasted about an hour and the definition quickly became: "Anything I don't like is literally goyslop."

I've seen people referring to salad and trail mix as goyslop. I've seen people referring to videogames they don't like as goyslop. I've seen people refer to Pokemon (Blastoise in this case) they don't like as goyslop. The term is fucking meaningless and it's only been popular for a few months.

LOL true someone called the lord of the rings series goyslop on /tv/ and people sometimes refer to windows 11 or apple products as goyslop on /g/. Pretty much like coping/seething. "Whatever I don't like is goyslop and if you disagree you're literally seething".
People just talk the talk with the new popular words these days. Who cares what anything means

Goyslop has been spammed so hard across /v/ the last couple weeks I can only assume it's a coordinated Discord effort to either make people mad or discredit anyone who questions the jews. Which is a shame because I actually think the term is kind of funny at face value.

Goyslop isn't limited to food. It's a synonym for low-brow. If you are a hapless drone obsessed with conforming to the Latest Thing™ who has surface-level takes on every topic imaginable then the things you enjoy would probably qualify as goyslop. Think of the quintessential chubby balding r/bigsubreddit user who takes it personally when you don't go and see Black Panther since he's decided all profits go to impoverished nigger villages somehow. That guy couldn't finish a book written more than 50 years ago. He couldn't hang in any meaningful discussion. He has to be spoonfed pop culture garbage made for the lowest common denominator because it's all he can stomach. You might be mistaken for that guy if you also openly indulge in things he likes.

There have been many terms for this phenomenon like "casual" or "pleb" but /pol/ tacked on some antisemitism because they wanted it to catch on like the It's OK to Be White fliers. They want ordinary people to recognize uncomfortable phenomena going on around them. "What does the goy in goyslop come from?" is a question they want the fat bald guy I described above to ask.

Then you have another different subset of users who spam goyslop with the driven intent of getting the mods on 4chan to censor it like they did with the word "soy". (You might recognize that as the catalyst for soyjak spammers who try to out-piss the ocean of piss because they despise the site's moderation. Or just find it funny.) Why are they doing this? Some are actual butthurt leftists who only know how to beg petty authority to do what they want; spamming memes they hate will (in their mind) trick the mods into wordfiltering it or banning people who post it. Some just hate the word, the website, the moderators and everything else. Some just find it funny.

tl;dr you have entered an upper astral plane of imageboard autism and everyone involved should probably kill themselves.

I tried using /pol/ one to see what all the fuss was about. However, I was quickly filter'd by all the inane comments.
/pol/ is mostly bots spamming junk out of Israel. This isn't a meme. When Israel suffered a massive power surge a few months ago (something involving their big protective yarmulke dome) /pol/'s traffic instantly slowed to a fourth of what it usually is & the comments/threads were nowhere near as retarded.

i don't know, it's funny because it's so not subtle.

You wrote a whole essay trying to explain "goyslop" and it all just sounds like your typical 4chan autism.
