When was the last time you posted on 4chan?

My last post would have been during Gamergate. I posted the cuck duck Moot meme and took a month ban. Never went back after.

/m/ has threads that last for up to 6 months. /toy/ is a little better, but mostly because it's full of generals.
/po/ has a pokemon thread from 2016. It has 164 replies and 41 images.

/po/ has always been VERY niche so its understandable why it's so slow.
Its largest spike in activity that wasn't from an raid was when one anon made Goerge Floyd origami.

When was the last time you posted on 4chan?

Years. Pre-COVID, at least; I used to hang around in /fit/'s Fat People Hate threads, /ck/, /k/, and /out/, after /co/ and /tg/ went to utter shit.

Also, I don't think many boards could beat /t/ in terms of slowness. It used to have threads that were years old.

When was the last time you posted on 4chan?
2021, posted in a a /his/ thread arguing for Richard III's poor reputation being a Tudor propaganda job.

/his/ was always a bit shit, but it became a /pol/ and /leftypol/ baiting grounds with more humanities than history. Looking at it now, it's a weird recycled hellscape of 2010 era Atheist/Theist bait threads, /pol/lite humanities threads or 1 post threads on history. I didn't have high expectations for it, but it was nice to temporarily have a spot for autistic history discussion that isn't reddit

True, shouldn't have linked that thread, the thread worries me though because some people are defending shit, I've lately been seeing more zoosadist types on boards like /pol/ and /an/. This started with the BMT spam a couple years back.
You have gotten a child to cut themselves on discord.

some mod is pinning threads on /b/ https://boards.4chan.org/b/catalog

/co/ is the worst offender, some threads can almost last for two weeks.
/co/ did not used to be this slow. I don't know if we've have a massive decline in population or what but threads are lasting days now due to bumpers refusing to let them die.

Speaking of /co/, the Smiling Friends threads have become insufferable. I like the show myself but it's gotten bad. It's nothing but schizos calling other people schizos, a lot of the regulars are convinced that all the detractors are the same guy (as we all know, it's impossible to simply dislike something).

It's also like an elementary school recess with all the e-celeb gossip and drama. Very little talk about the actual cartoon.

Doesn't every general pretend all negative posts are by one anon?

I really like smiling friends too and i am glad those guys are succeeding with it but i get the feeling its going to become the next rick and morty very soon.

The cracks are already showing in both the fanbase and the show proper. They're starting to rely on too many of the same gags and they aren't as funny as when Zach wrote them down. And the fans, on 4chan at least, are defensive as fuck. Every thread just turns into fighting for some reason.

Its the natural cycle for these things. Better to enjoy it for what it is before it reaches its pickle rick moment.

Many such cases!

The worst is when they breach containment and start sperging out at someone in a totally different board/thread for expressing the "schizo" opinion. They usually derail the thread with paragraphs of schizobarf explaining their general's made-up lore alongside a bunch of screenshots of posts with no clear connection. They might even samefag their replies if not enough people agree with them, or I've even seen a case or two of false-flagging as their supposed schizo before replying to themselves "BTFOing" him. The samefagging is usually so pathetically obvious that it's sometimes hilarious enough to make up for the fact they ruined whatever thread they showed up in.

Speaking of schizos shitting up threads with screencaps, the /v/ mobileposter who reverse searches random reaction images en masse to make some sort of argument he never bothers to articulate is back.
Just scroll down a little and suddenly you'll find him searching image hashes and filenames of nearly every post in the thread and spamming screenshots of the results, which usually amount to "WOAH!!!! THIS GUY HAS USED THIS PARTICULAR REACTION IMAGE 30 TIMES!!! I TOTALLY BTFO HIM BY POINTING THAT OUT!!!" What is his endgame? Who knows.
Previously covered here (where it is revealed he's also a furfag):
We've got a live (edit: thread got jannied as I was typing up this post) one, folks.
https://arch.b4k.co/v/thread/673498871#673500273 There's been this recurring schizo on /v/ who searches the archives for the image attached to any post who disagrees with him, and posts a screenshot of the results as if they're all the same person, even when it has dozens of uses across years with different filenames. If that doesn't work, he'll search a word or phrase from the post instead (he didn't even know how to do this correctly in the past, but still tried anyway), always referring to it as "buzzwords" even when it's just a combination of regular words like "stupid republicans".

You can tell it's him (besides from his distinctive mannerisms) because he always leaves in the filename when he starts spamming a thread with these screenshots, revealing that he's:
>a mobileposter
>uses le shill lion browser
>CDT/CST timezone

And always has the same screen width of 1080p.
It's almost always in culture wars threads, but there seems to be one exception...
Furry threads.
You're probably thinking "oh, he's just yelling at the furfags for being degenerates, right?"
Wrong!
He's only yelling at them for posting the wrong type of furry porn. So much for our supposed "based shill destroyer", it looks like he's not really in much of a place to be calling others fags anywhere near as much as he's been doing.

@Punished Magician (I can't quote your post for some reason.)
Using the same filename doesn't guarantee its the same person, 4chanx adds a download button that saves a file with the filename it was posted with. I'd imagine most of the time he gets false positives and is too retarded or mentally ill to realize it.
Exactly, not to mention all the times he lumps together all the times an image is posted (across multiple years) with totally different filenames, or every time a filename is used even when it's on different images and/or formatted differently. 4chan's been hit pretty hard by an epidemic of retards thinking they're genius detectives uncovering the identities of shizoposters, everywhere you go people will claim that any post they don't like is actually part of an organized conspiracy, regardless of how hard they're grasping at straws to piece it together.

People have already touched on this, but I feel 4chan's post count is heavily boosted by about a couple hundred posters extremely dedicated to singular general threads. This is true on /int/ where people treat the country generals like their social clubs. Then threads on all the other major boards are boosted by ritual posters who are autistically dedicated to posting the same joke response a decade on. Anyone who breaks their ritual is automatically considered an outsider, no matter how tired the joke has become. /co/ is full of actual weirdos and has always been hated as a board since like 2012-2013? Makes it funnier actual industry people supposedly post on /co/. /co/ and /v/ I think have the most posters who have no life outside the boards so treat it as a sacred job to defend their posts.

The mods are in on this ritualposting shit , hell one is the reason for a lot of it on /v/ especially the speedrun event threads and will slap you with a month long ban for ban evasion with no chance of an appeal because you went against their little ego trip. There's no hope for the site until they execute every last janny.
