First of all, we already have an 8chan thread here
Second, try using the "archive.8chan.moe" domain instead of just "8chan.moe" when archiving

Note that it's a coinflip if the images will actually be archived or not there. There is nothing you can do about that, the niGGers control that from behind the scenes. The answer is in their own thread, but the summary is that the site owner had a brilliant idea of starting a "legal CP board" there because that's what he thinks 8chan is all about, but instead of attracting OG 8channers and oldfags worldwide he just attracted a bunch of pedophiles to his site(please try to hold your surprised gasp). Now, the site is dead because most people abandoned it(both because they thought it was a honeypot and due to other issues) but the pedophiles still remain, spamming legally questionable material to this day(one of their most active boards is /delicious/, which is western lolicon, to give you the idea of what the userbase is like). This led to the 8chan team disabling image archiving several years ago in case illegal material goes thru, as they archive their own threads regularly.
My advice is that if you absolutely need to capture the page with images, you do a full screen capture(if the thread isn't too big). Otherwise, you can use the method I described above(assuming it works and they haven't disabled archiving altogether)

The concept of /mlp/ feels stranger by the year. Imagine having not lived through the MLP internet flood of 2011/2012 and getting explained why a dumb show about horses for children has its own containment board.
Just think about it from today's perspective: The biggest disturbance on the internet back then (so big that even 4chan was affected) wasn't tied to politics, the culture war, or some world event but to the amount of people spamming pictures of pastel cartoon equines, and the concept of grown men watching a children's show was considered as one of the weirdest things the internet had to offer.
Also, I could swear that bronies weren't so coom-obsessed early on. ponibooru.413chan.net (the earliest booru that ran from 2010 to early 2012) had barely any sexual content and erotic pony pics were treated more as a joke by the majority of users. I guess the only people that are still interested in ponies in 2024 have to have some major mental malfunctions.

I remember KYM and Memebase being flooded with coomer or coomer adjacent art. All the old threadsims are riddled with IW2CIRD type posting.
MLP *started* on 4chan. That infamous first thread where someone predicts the incoming wave of porn.
It was also riddled with proto culture war spats and tactics but the actual "groups" were far more balkanized.

While discord does get labled as "CSAM.com" on this site and a lot of others, I feel like people ignore how telegram is 10X worse in regards to that stuff (Think Goonclown or Cecefem). I'm not sure how its managed to dodge that label, Maybe just dumb luck or ignorance. Sadly this has allowed for sharing of CSAM to grow as people aren't reporting such sharing groups to telegram nor informing people on other websites about said groups, (To those who didn't see the image before it was edited, it led to a telegram group).
