So this is something weird I've never seen anyone talk about. There are these strange websites that pretend to be forums that just copy and paste 4chan threads and posts, like this.

Sometimes in the past I've found others by searching common 4chan expressions on Google.

Bot sites, they scrape a ton of sites, not just 4chan. Not sure why, but they are somewhat useful when searching for something that might have been deleted and, as luck would have it, was archived on one of these.

While these sites suck ass, the pig farmer's and archive.org's actions with 8chan managed to turn the scrapers for that into halfassed archives, so they're not all bad.

I was using the shitter and browsing 4chan on mobile with my home's wifi. For some reason it just keeps asking me for mail validation constantly on mobile, despite having done so via throwaway gmail services and not clearing cookies. So, I try again, throwaway mail to bypass the 15 minute wait, and click 'post'. Says I'm banned indefinitely for VPN/Proxy use, and the ban message directs me to a post I've never made from 6 days ago. Can't be the cookies, can't be my IP (I can post from the computer using the same IP just fine), so the only reason is that the specific throwaway mail address I used this time was also used by the actual guy who got banned, which means they definitely keep track of what mails you've used. Keep it in mind.

Lately, I have been annoyed by Janitors obviously abusing their powers to single me out.

I can tell because whenever I post in those boards that don't show your flag or location (e.g., not /Pol), I have noticed that suspiciously some anonymous users make comments like how I am obviously "ESL" or how I watch telenovelas. My English might not be perfect, but I do spell-check and blend in very well otherwise. Other times, they magically seem to be able to recognize me in other threads despite me sometimes making only one-line comments. "Oh you did x again."

I don't care if people know I am Mexican or not, but them using moderator privileges is kind of shitty because we are all supposed to be anonymous. On equal footing—They of course play dumb because supposedly 4chan mods can't tell they are mods. Recently, one said I watch too much "telenovelas." I never even hinted I was Mexican. I called the Janitor out and he played dumb and he changed it to "Brazilian telenovelas" AFTER I called him out on being an obvious Janitor. Maybe I am being paranoid, but it seems extremely unlikely someone would use the term "telenovela" instead of soap opera unless they could see my IP address and nationality somehow. It's just too specific.

The extremely common "ESL" comments I get that seem to be used as a trump card from some "anons" is super common in my experience. As if they think pointing out I am not american instanly makes them win an argument. I just find them very suspicious.

But who knows? Maybe I am seeing patterns that don't exist. I don't trust 4chan mods to play fair that I can say for sure.

I'm more surprised that people actually believe that crap about them not saving data. At absolute minimum they will be saving the board, post number and IP of every post that gets a ban.

They absolutely do stalk and harass people on the site, and don't believe anyone claiming otherwise. Why wouldn't they? It's not like they're going to face any consequences, so they're left to be pieces of shit to random people. I just want to add that while the stalking has been more obvious recently, in my regular use, I find the common "ESL" comments I get extremely suspicious because they are so frequent. While some anons use it as an insult when a post is poorly written, I find it highly unlikely that random anons would accurately guess that I’m not American that often.

What I’m getting at is that the janitors and mods are definitely not playing fair. I would use a VPN, but most are already useless because most of those ips are already banned in 4chan. My experience has been mostly bad so I think I will lurk from now on.

Now that the inmates run the asylum, I am definitely seeing warning signs of the same thing happening to 4chan, it's just that hitlists will be on their tranny discords.

If you want extra laughs that mod, the one that slipped The telenovela mention, was particularly angry because I pointed out that those Cute girls doing cute things anime are fairly unrealistic in their depiction of women. I just think women are human beings with flaws and virtues like everyone else. But he was super adamant that women are superior to men, and more moral and kinder, and that men were the cause of all evil in the world.

When I pointed out that real women often tell themselves on how they often struggle with other women’s toxic behavior , He got extremely mad and tried an uno reverse card me by telling me I should interact with real woman instead of watching “telenovelas“. I was posting just fine in the morning. My cookie can't magically produce a ban message that leads to someone's else post. It was only after I validated the mail that I got the ban message, validated in both the web via mobile, and 4chan app (Chance), both came up with the same ban message despite theoretically having different cookies.
