Reminds me of the Andy Sixx’s logs guyThis has been happening for years on /tg/ too. There is one retard called Bumpfag who keeps threads alive for months and anyone who talks about him or reports him gets banned instead. I am so fucking tired of this shit
"Finally..."What is he thinking about all of this?
Nothing they do could hurt the site as much as the current staff and jannies's neglect>gain access to gookmoot's account
>bring back /qa/
>shut off posting
>do nothing else to vandalize the site
What did they mean by this?
>Copy X is never coming backI hope this is not the end of 4chan. It's the only active forum for discussion of mecha. I liked long indepth discussions about the rice economics of Gasaraki. The discussions there were usually civil and well thought out, and no one was getting policed for wrongthink. Actually, a common complaint was that there seemed to be no moderation since for a few months there was someone spamming "CCA is overrated" or "CCA is underrated" threads, I forgot. If /m/ becomes inaccessible then I have nowhere else to go (mechatalk is low activity and under the boot of tyranny, Spacebattles is active but bans people for wronthink, MAL only talks about current seasonals and not mecha in general let alone years old shows, I hardly ever use reddit). I also enjoyed following the generals for some Japanese games to check on the status of 4chan's fan translation patches.
I was wondering the same thing, and I'm pretty sure that the jannies pulled the full database because the 'teen was 'tarded. I did see a ban from late 2023 so it probably goes back a ways. It's worth looking out for it thoughbeit. So I'm a bit of a retard and want to ask for clarification, there's no chance of regular poster IP addresses being bulk-leaked in correlation to posts, right? The Sharty people tipped their hand early before backing up everything, and the server probably wipes all that after a period of time too? I ask because I'm imaging the funniest timeline where this actually happens, and the aftermath in the catty boards like /vt/ whos' userbase is unironically half VTubers attempting to anonymously cynically shill themselves and insult their competition with gayops fighting over the other half of brown retards who inhabit the board.
If they decide to leak the source code, I'd really appreciate it if someone @'d me to the archive. I'm more or less interested in doing a deep dive and seeing if the rumors related to 4chan being a federally hijacked site with it's own hidden FBI clone that didn't delete posts was actually true or not

"DURR IM GAY IM FUCKING GAY AND RETARDED DURRRR COCKS"What is he thinking about all of this?
Depends on the kind of person you are. If you're willing to search through truckloads of shit to find one valuable thing you're either unemployed or a masochist, but if you actually value your time you'll go anywhere else. At the bare minimum you will go to a place where the people running it give a shit and aren't on some form of DIY estrogen. It has been in a sorry state for quite a long time now, but that doesn't mean there isn't anything of worth in there among the rubbish. 4chan is the equivalent of the plastisphere in the ocean: an entire ecosystem of life that has adapted and learned to live and grow on these floating islands of human waste. And this moment is the start of a new age of uncertainty for these communities, hopefully one that will lead to something better.
Indians.Wonder who the /k/ jannies are.
