There were a few generals on /b/ that didn't fit any other board, and even they fell victim to this. At it's worst, I saw bbc scat porn get spammed 22+ hours a day for a week straight. Despite all of the reporting the guy didn't get banned until he came back after a week of absence to do it again.
It wasn't uncommon to see one poster get banned and literally take a third of the threads posts with him. It was that bad.

There is a bad element of 4chan rapefugees that are porn-addicts, fedposters, weebs, pedophiles etc, and obviously we don't want them. But there are also 4chan rapefugees that want to make OC, effortpost, and """productively""" contribute to an online community. We don't want them either.
 
You guys do not realize how ecstatic I was when I found out 4chan got taken down and the depths of depression I went in to after finding out it was done by Soyjak Party.
