I lurk semi-frequently during e-celeb drama (most recently WhatIfAltHist's complete drug-induced schizo meltdown). It's nice when threads have OPs that are continuously updated to provide new information, but when they don't (like this thread) you find yourself surfing through pages and pages of shit to find informative posts and get downboots when you post something late/redundant. At least chan threads give you the ability to quickly sort and find relevant/informative posts by (You)s

Indeed. The /biz/ board has been one of my most frequented webpages since it launched about a decade ago after forking from crypto threads on /g/. It has been depressing witnessing the decline from consistently high quality discussion, to being flooded by /pol/ shit and Discord/Telegram scammers after the 2020-2021 crypto boom. I've been holding out hope that stocks and crypto crashing would drive the idiots away and lead to a revival of intelligent conversation, but it never happened. I'm somewhat thankful this hack happened because it's leading me to seriously reevaluate where I spend my time, and prompted me to start branching out.
You can use the "next highlight" feature to sift through posts with a lot of reactions. Not an ideal solution, but good for catching up on notable events happening with cows.
