You can spot the Reddit users here by them defending /k/ mods and crying muh /pol/ over /k/ pro-ATF and Biden spam on /k/. The jannies were banning over people pointing out the IDF openly operates with a pro-Jewish racial bias that would be illegal in the west.

While we're at it, did any of you also notice a sudden increase in "aggression" on 4chan during the past year? What I mean is that if you tried to effortpost on, say, a hobby board (like /g/ or /o/) there would always be 1 or 2 people who would enter the thread and act all pissed off, saying everyone's retarded and acting like you had killed their newborn child or something. Everyone always seemed irritable/on edge compared to even just a few years back.

You're schizo, but you're not wrong. My take on it however is that art of gatekeeping was lost as board culture got more and more diluted by normalfags and newfags. Rather than tell a Macfag to install Gentoo and sage the thread as a meme, these people try too hard to prove they're a true and honest /g/entooman. It also seems as generals became acceptable in non-general boards, some Anon's became more cliquey, and can't comprehend that board culture exists outside their general.
