Going back to what I said earlier its likely that 4chan is going to end up like tumblr still around but damaged with sites like the sharty taking its place.

That's why the 2022 thing messed me up because I recall seeing /trash/ like 5 or so years ago and the only thing I remember was all the furry porn.

Pretty much like any hobby board, I love /ck/ because there is always an autist that can answer my super specific cooking related question, that's why there was never a sticky if you need a sticky to be able to cook you don't belong on /ck/

There was a very, very, very slow imageboard I visited maybe once a year tops for over a decade. It had a post rate best measured in posts per year. But there was still this loyal contingent of users that'd come back once a year to say hello, like clockwork, for like 15 fucking years. It got discovered by reddit and ruined after 2020 iirc. But you'd see the first page of the board with posts across two different years because of how slow it was.

it had that playlist of music I posted. I loved a lot of songs on it. I have very fond memories of listening to them. Eventually I hunted them down and found the admin had posted a zip at some point in a random directory that I downloaded.

a little whisper of a bygone era, snuffed out by reddit, like everything else I've ever liked.

not sure, my ultimate question is what purpose does sockpuppeting a woman account on your own site, that already has a pretty large female userbase serve. Everything has a reason and i struggle to see the reason for Null to do something like this. Its not as though i could kinda see it and not understand the reason because at the end of the day a reason is still there. it just doesn't make any sense

I'm sure I'm late, but according to the 4chan mod IRC via the sharty and some screencaps, so don't take it as gospel, but it will be 2-3 weeks until 4chan is back online. That amount of time will be devastating.
