Null recently upgraded the forum software or something and there's been some growing pains.

xenforo is a piece of shit. i haven't had a chance to do a diagnostic on why that happens, but it appears to only happen if your post triggers the "Messages have been posted since you loaded this page" alert. I'm not sure if that's accurate.

Well, the fact that the staff is actually upgrading and maintaining the site is already a plus. I think in 20 days I will forget that 4chan even exists.

I'd generally refer you to use your eyes. If those fail you but you own a screen reader, refer to the internet and tech board-thing.

And here I was thinking someone compiled the IPs of /pol/ posters that hid their flag but the numbers of the edited image are slightly behind america and and UK numbers which means the image is a bit old as well.

I've been out of the loop with chan culture for a good while now. What's up with so many of the jannies being outed as deviant freaks? Granted winding up as a janitor for a site where the venn diagram of pedophiles, extremists, shitposters, and the mentally ill overlap to the point of being a circle puts you high in the running for the most dysfunctional spastic on earth. But you'd think they'd exercise some degree of caution in keeping their janny identities separate from the rest of their diseased antics. If for no other reason than pure shame.

To be fair the vast majority of the leaked janny emails and usernames don't come up in search meaning most of them were smart enough to create a throwaway. Out of 219 entries ignoring the publicly known mods and admins I've found around 20 on other sites and only a few of them are worth mentioning due to degeneracy or just being funny to think that person is a 4chan janitor. The others were pretty boring/normal people. A few such examples:

/sp/ was great. It was like the bar/bro culture board. You'd talk about sports mostly, but the off-topics threads with that community were just golden. The Christmas day threads were legendary - but now you get banned for even posting Craigsmas.

The board turned into a general filled shit hole. There was nothing separating it from a subreddit at that point. Every single fucking minor soccer team has a thread but God forbid you make a power rankings post (a staple of that board since inception). Total Janny death for what they did to /sp/.
