There's a rule of logic on these boards that any discussion of the hard R on this forum will inevitably lead to someone posting excerpts from Tumult of the Niggers, and if you haven't seen that meme, you're in for a treat, because it's literally one of the funniest goddamn things I ever saw on /lit/ and it's remembered pretty fondly on this forum to this day. So in that proud tradition (and since it's a discussion of 4chan anyway) Ol' Jaimas will share it with you all.

Basically, back in 2017, some dude was asking on /lit/ how many times was too much for an openly racist character to use racial slurs, since the work was supposed to be was a character study. When someone, inevitably, asked how many times the OP had used the word in his 55,000 word novella, a word search revealed he had used the word 11986 times. In other words, the N-bomb accounts for approximately 22% of the story. When someone called him out on it, he posted an excerpt:

The nature of the word itself makes itself a hard subject do discuss (a hard R, if one will). Yet this particular work uses it so many times and with such reckless abandon that it becomes impossible to take seriously and it turns into comedy gold that I have never seen a single person not laugh their rear ends off at. There's the old comedy trope of crossing the line twice, and then there's whatever the fuck this is. I've shown this to leftists I'm on good terms with and even they can't help but snicker at it. As they should, this shit's hilarious.
