.png > .jpegIs there any reason to hate webp other than it's simply not supported by all applications/software yet? Isn't it actually superior for load times? From my understanding it's kinda like the sequel to jpeg as it's lossy, but not nearly as bad as the original.
Am I crazy? Have we just become retarded olds yelling at clouds while the future is for the youth? Is there a reason to hate it other than "It doesn't work on my phone yet" or "It isn't loaded into my image editor yet"? Is the future of image boards webp and we're just autists that hate change? I'd like to know!
Lossy compressed images with JPEG artifacts are dogshit and only save a couple of MBs.
