Okay 4chuddies let's try and integrate with the local culture a bit. What e-celeb drama or lolcows do (you) follow? I actually found kiwifarms through Nick rekieta when he wasn't a criminal and had null on his show. Browsed ever since then and only joined on my first account during the hedonism 2 saga.

I put all my attention to personal drama(people I hate for very personal reasons), seeing something about an eceleb especially one of those foreigners making a fool of themselves in a strange land with different customs can be funny but following someone's personal life falling apart update by update when I don't have a reason to hate them personally just has no appeal and sounds boring. This might have something to do with me never caring about drama as a medium, I cant stand tv shows that go on and on about drama I just want action (often shounen anime) and I dont care at all about celebrities. I did however watch like 50 episodes of the chris chan documentary when ungodly bored.

4chan sucks in disenchanted people from Reddit as well, Not necessarily /our guys/ but people mystified by the echo chamber and hard left of Reddit. They're just normal people so far but that might change.

Reddit is so pozzed in my city you get a ban if you post any information relating to crime as the crime is almost always perpetrated by blacks or the Sudanese so thus all crime talk is banned, all X posts were also banned again for the same reason...that reason being ANYTHING AGAINST THE NARRATIVE IS NOT ALLOWED, even normies that see this shit happening might turn to 4chan...they probably wouldn't turn to here though...

Would this be a fear of their IPs falling into the hands of law enforcement or is it the "risk" that this is what it could lead to?

Searched the thread to see if this has been mentioned. But Graf, admin of Poa.st has considered buying 4chan from hiroshimoot. Going as far as to email him a 1 million dollar offer. (Which is surprising considering the occasional funding issues he has)
Besides this he seems to intend to federate it via ActivityPub. I'm not entirely certain about how scalable the protocol is, but for the volume it seems insane. Much like attempting to buy it in the first place.

Fair enough I doesn't personally engage with or have any interest in the archiving or phone booking of people I'm just here for the lols and the gossip of e celebs I used to like. I never particularly cared about Chris chan either outside of the gazillion documentaries that have been made about him that are entertaining enough to watch.

Yeah, I wasn't that very active. Only a few posts, but I really only cared about Chris. Not to say I don't find lolcows funny, but I can only be so invested. I'll go to /wsg/ threads and laugh at bossmanjack stuff, but that's about it these days. even if you stifle 5% of eurozone posters, like whats happening in UK for stating you dont like the teaching progroms on FB, it would be considered a yuge win for 5eyes to get more money and promotions.

its not even that IPv4 WANs could dox you...dunno about europe, but in the US its all dynamic WAN blocks, not very doxable byitself, too much plausible deniablity.

however, the THREAT or mental FEAR of such repercussions could be big, and could make posters go into hiding. this enough could easily be considered a win by euro suits.

Never thought I would say this, but I'm starting to miss /vp/. Not the pedos, dogfuckers, Discord troons, e-celebfags, /pol/baiters, etc. that were allowed to infest the board. I miss the cozy art threads, especially the /ef/ ones.
They may have been image dumps with little meaningful discussions, but were still nice threads to visit once in a while. Quite chill and surprisingly "normal" (most of the time), usually remaining comparatively free of the aforementioned pests plaguing the rest of the board.

What? I don't know how that's possible, but then I do forget that a lot of 4chan is harmless hobby stuff, so I guess it's possible. A story just popped into my head. I remember years ago I was working this job, and a young fella there took out his phone and scrolled KF in front of me and then asked if I ever came here. I knew there was overlap, so I said, Honestly, not really, but I'll come lurk if someone mentions something of interest in /pol/. He turned and looked at me like I was the biggest fucking scumbag in the world.
