As far as I know the jannies and staff here all have that right on their profiles, and there are so many of them with different personalities and board preferences. Tromb is one of my fav mods, and is an active participant within the threads you'll find her in, right there laughing at the cows with us. 0 0 is another really chill mod, and you'll see plenty of retired ones around the forums.

This thing actually opens a websocket directly to the soyfag websocket server and evaluates any javascript that server sends to the "anon", then it sends the result back to their server. No wonder they renamed "Anonymous" to "Chud".

Just went on sharty again to see if there are any more updates.
Say what you want about 4chan, but you never needed a janny's permission to post images. They were visible as soon as you posted them.
Curiously, Sharty is also the first imageboard I've seen that needs to fingerprint your browser's canvas.
Given most of the threads on there are shitposts it's hard to believe that a janny actually approved of the endless crying wojaks and cuckjaks but nevertheless it's visible for everyone to see.
8kun is just as doomed as it was when the original one shut down. 8moe is seemingly comfier but also due to the nature of user-created boards, it's never going to sustain 4chan numbers for long.
Rest of the altchans I've seen are either dead or extremely niche, which is fair, but I don't expect them to be able to rehome 4chan refugees if the site goes down for good.

The experience has really demonstrated just how important a proper successor/alternative to 4chan is. If 4chan goes down, English-speaking imageboard culture goes down with it. Some of these altchans were getting a couple of posts a day before the site went down, and some have threads from numerous years ago.

IIRC the sharty admins added these because they used to get raided by discord tranny gayops who would spam CP on the sharty

Don't worry, really that thread just turned into a source of entertainment to laugh at. Pretty much everybody involved walked away from it fine. Some of the people there are regulars to this day that get along with everybody else fine.

Depending on your age and how used to forums you are it might be hard at first. I forget that traditional forums were a lot more prevalent than they are today and some people aren't as familiar.
