The conspiracy theory on this that makes some sense to me is that this is happening due to the USAID shutdown. Perhaps the shilling and demoralization ops that were being run on anon boards were funded by USAID. The mentality was to allow a few spaces for anon discussion but flood them with shills and monitor them closely to minimize the risk of the userbase creating something more secure without the tranny jannies. With no more USAID, the shill operations are having to wind down and they don't want anon boards to become productive hubs of counterculture with daily /sig/ threads and more IOKTBW-type ops, so they had 4chan taken down.

I agree - 4chan was allowed to exist as long as it did because it was a government supported glow-op as otherwise it would have been targeted 24/7 by bad actors and taken down by big tech at some point. For fuckstakes, the place still uses Cloudflare which a massive redflag itself.

I ended up walking away from a quest and back to the main city last time I played but it took like 20/30 minutes because a Chimera and a Griffon tried buttfucking my party. I was so mad about not triggering the quest that I put it down for a couple weeks.
