the demographic is different, people on 4chan tend to be older or at the very least attempt to act like it, and grew up differently. You know, the kids that didn't have very many friends in middle and highschool that would show you weird shit at lunch for laughs. Those types of people tend to latch onto old jokes and twist them and all that it's why soyjack and pepe lasted so long. For the main social medias there is less creativity, the goal isn't to change the meme like how a 4channer would but to make a new one on top of it that just follows a similar formula to get the most likes.

AEW is the second biggest wrestling company on earth, but not very big. The weekly show on pw would get 3-7 threads that reach bump limit the last year maybe more. On new pw it couldn’t reach 100 post in all 2 hours of the show. There were always theories that a lot of AEW post were the same few people and bots. Either the fanbase is too stupid to find the new place or it really wasn’t as popular on pw as the obnoxious fanbase tried to make it seem.

I was worried it was the 4chanocaust 2.0 with that downtime. I hope I never become so down bad that I make an account on downdetector and join those lost souls, don't go there brothers, I don't believe you can ever return from shitposting there, that's rock bottom.
