Yeah there's a lot that I like about the Farms. Deeper discussion in many respects. But I miss the fast-paced, anonymous chaos of 4Chan. I miss shitposting in /mlb/ gennies with my Internet friends. I miss reading dank copypastas on /tv/. I miss /k/.

yeah. after frequenting the site for nearly 14 years, i never thought i'd lose my attachment to it so quickly

lurking KF and 8moe has made me realize how downhill 4chan had gone. i mean, i already know it'd gone to shit, but seeing how much higher the quality of discussion is here was a genuine wakeup call

1. captcha timer reduced to the original 60 seconds
2. unique poster ID's on all boards
3. jannies doing their job (that we pay them for!) and not be protecting their hug box generals

It’s weird, but I can’t relate with a lot of you who are losing attachment to the site, I still find myself trying to load it every few hours hoping to see it back online. I’ve been a daily user of that shithole for 17 years at this point, and despite it going downhill thanks to /pol/ and zoomers, it’s just a habit I can’t seem to break and still consider it my home site. Genuinely miss scrolling /tv/, /v/, and popping by to see what /fit/ is up to.
I’ve been on here a lot more though, finally decided to get posting again after all this time, although I can’t get into my @Stephen Hillenburg account right now.
