Corporate whores don't actually have any ideology or moral values, they are after money and control and they will larp as anything that will get them these things. They will shift right in order to maintain that control. They've been doing this for over a century, and it's easy to see their tactics once you start studying them.

Putting together the money for new equipment took nearly a decade.

2023 is still four years past the end of life date for the software they were running. While I can sympathize with the payment processor issues, there are still other ways to get the cash.

Maybe Gook Moot can ask Null for a consultation. He keeps this site running despite the US financial system all but barring him from handling money.

The downtime length was just enough for me to realize how truly awful the experience is these days and how little useful information I've found on it in the last few years.

I was here yesterday when 4chan came online. I think something in me broke seeing old garbage threads clogging the catalog, all the 'I MISSED YOU GUYS SO MUCH' threads filled with (deleted) posts from people even mentioning the obvious.

I'm not sure what the laws are regarding OFCOM but if they do require 4chan to hand over all the IPs of people that were unfortunately not using a VPN when they signed up for a 4chan pass or even posted there the brits will be fucked. The hacker may not have had access to the private key used to decrypt the hashed emails of the people that signed up but gookmoot very well might.

A lot of the things they ban aren't even right wing, they just label anything that goes against the mainstream narrative "right wing" as an excuse to ban it. Extreme lefties and trannies systematically took over every power node on the internet (mods, sys admins, etc) so that they no longer had to defend their ideologies, arguments, or viewpoints, they could simply ban them and remove them from the discussion. Sadly, it was very effective. I don't see any way to fix this until we retake those power nodes, and I haven't been able to come up with an effective strategy for doing that either.

They gained enough control over "radical" right wing to turn it into a total clown op. The purity spiraling and paranoia and unapproachability of the "radical" right was facilitated by clowns to drive a wedge between a "radical" right and a normie right, effectively pushing normies away from wrongthink they associated with the "radical" element. It was fucking obvious they were doing this, everyone knew they were doing it, but it still worked. It basically took the banner of populism out of the hands of dread wrongthinkers who followed the purity spiraling too far.
Basically: Stick with normies, don't get divided from the herd, its better to be a wrongthinker in a populist movement than a rightthinker in no movement.
The (((special interest lobbies))) rode their leftside horse till it died (which was predictable) and then fully committed to jumping up on the rightside horse (also predictable) but they need to re-establish wrongthink terms and controls to get rid of the element that isn't supportive of their total uncontested control of the horse.
A group like KiwiFarms is interesting because its not radicalized, its just an autistic lolfarm that frightens their silliest clowns and is mostly irreverent of the newsfeed and weaponized doomscrolling "front page" they've astroturfed as "alternative news".
I don't think they know how to deal with it. Most of the userbase can't be convinced that they should hate their own country, they're not interested in radicalization because the 'lolcow farming' aspect of the community inoculates it against clownish radicalization ops.
I don't think they wanted anons to migrate here. Its going to undo a lot of their radicalization/cultivation work and put some anons back on target.

Anons did neither, and this is why they freaked out. They can't control us, and they can't use game theory to predict what we will do or how we will react. I expect their next move will be to either try to recruit us, or kill us off.
