/tg/ has been incredibly cucked for a while. Pic related was used as an OP for /bgg/. It is from a game called illuminati which, you guessed it, is all about conspiracy theories. Now, a janny getting upset about nothing isn’t strange, they're retarded after all. But the retard actually reported it to a mod to get the entire thread deleted. This was well before the hack.

After the hack I made the mistake of looking for some /tg/ stuff, and halfway a thread someone was suddenly whining about Trump. It wasn't some bait OP, it was just:

And in the gay-beholder thread people were unironically praising WOTC's forced diversity while the janny was deleting any post critical of WOTC's DEIshit. 4chan somehow managed to go from "reddit where you can say nigger" to "reddit"

The CP spammer on /v/ is now embedding it in .gifs. I found it pretty interesting to see how many people will reply to a thread without even bothering to look at the OP image.
CP hidden in the OP? easy 300+ replies until anyone actually decides to READ the OP instead of instantly posting their "hot take" reply
 
Perhaps the most worthless niggers I can think of on 4chan are mod-apologist contrarians who are more eager to get into spat fights and shit on people for rightfully questioning moderators and the site's declining functionality. They don't even have to like them that much, but they can't let go because their identity of being shallow malding faggots is too tied to this basket-weaving forum. I still can't believe that there faggots to this day willing to claim that removal of IP counter wasn't a net negative and a preclude for the site getting totally overrun by browns and bots.

You can embed extra information in pictures (PNGs and gifs). In the past you could embed extra pictures or music in pictures which could be quite fun. You had to install a greasemonkey script to read the embedded information. It would add a few buttons to a post that let you display the embeds. Vidya music threads were fun. But then pedos started embedding CP videos into pictures and the mods shut it down by limiting picture seize based on picture dimensions (killing /gif/ in the process since animated gifs are really big compared to their dimensions.) Then later htey found another embed method which, after 2 days of being used for convenient multi-picture posting, was used to post loli porn. Then the mods shut that down. Now they embed links to loliporn.

It's been the case since /tg/'s creation that is is "owned"/babysat by one specific mod who is immensely mentally ill. I forget what his handle is, but he looks at /tg/ quite literally 12-16hrs a day and will arbitrarily delete absolutely anything he doesn't like.

The worst thing that can happen to a board on 4chan is that it has a "patron mod" who is obsessed with the subject matter and decides to use the board as his personal one
 
Did the /v/ musical even happen this year? I know it's been getting less and less attention as times go by, but the last time I checked in 2023 they were still doing it,

Or they let actual CP stay up for as long as needed unless it's mass reported. It's something that has been happening on /v/ lately.
