Got triggered by the recent Xenoblade release I guess?
Anyway, he screams about "enelcord", claims that "us channers" know that Xenoblade is bad, etc.
Just found it weird enough to look for.

It's my belief that /mu/ doesn't appeal to anyone under 30. When other places provide more productive discussions on music, musicians and their outputs, lesser sites simply die. User attrition happens rapidly when the vast majority of threads on /mu/ are either low effort lyric posts, flamebait, shitposts or thirstposts.

Music as identity was largely a product of a much more social world, and what little of it remained died from the COVID lockdowns.

It sucks, but it always kind of sucked, and there aren't many good websites on the internet anyway. What the fuck do I use at this point? Reddit? Gamefaqs? Something Awful? The internet sucks now, there are no real alternatives.

Came here to vent about how bad 4chan has fallen. I'm foolish enough to believe the site will pull up from it's tailspin, but it just keeps getting worse.

• instant two-day ban for the sin of attempting to post banned text. No explanation given for what part of your post contains the forbidden phrase, or why it was censored. No appeal system in place. How rude.
• new captchas are offensively bad. You are required to play a children's mini-game before submitting anything to the forums. Designed so you need to closely inspect each choice, you can't speed through them. Fail too much and it's a two-day ban. But 4chan pass users can circumvent this nonsense, hint hint.
• geo range blocks for the sin of living in the wrong part of the world. I'm not talking about Bangladesh either. First world countries are just perma denied access without explanation, timeframe or appeal options.
• the only good 4chan mobile app Blue Clover has been discontinued. The developer threw in the towel. Now it only functions as a browser. The opinionated trannies on /g/ are too useless to maintain it.
• outright preventing you from posting before you disable certain browser plugins
• zero site innovation and admin communication, no fun allowed, do-whatever boards completely overtaken by porn bots, politics seeping into every regular board, the dumbest sacks of shit plaguing every discussion, hostility towards every poster, stale cultural trends that refuse to die

I fucking hate what became of 4chan. People used to have fun and be cool. You could actually speak your mind and share secrets. You could actually have a discussion with people. The most frustrating part is how obvious the problems are, yet nobody rallies to stop engaging in the cancer. All the users know how to do is keep going further.

It seems we have confirmation 4chan spends $40,000 a year on the site at minimum. Fixes only get implemented when the ability to data harvest posters is compromised.

I'll take this with a grain of salt since Leto is human shit and you should not donate to him. But as I said in the other thread I don't believe this is actually related to stopping CSAM, boards have been full of polacks doing that to piss off janitors and other posters for years.

I just got a 90 day ban for "using a proxy/VPN" when I was not. You can look up the IP I used and it will say what it is, which I did and sent them the link, they denied my appeal and said to try again in 8 days, wtf is going on with this nigger tier website and what is a good alternative that people actually use because this sucks? I used 8chan for years but switched back because 8chan turned to ass.

Where do you live? Because if there is not a giant building in your favela with a sign out front reading Data Center: For lease to gay furry pedophiles you might be part of a botnet. That's how Leto got a lot of his residential IPs to begin with.
 
Nothing like that, something that my ban appeal explanation should have cleared up for them. I don't even care enough to ban evade and use my phone, fuck this.
